I bought this one to replace a similar squirrel feeder which has been in use over 15 years and was getting rusty. It has 4 arms, rather than the 5 arms this new one has. The backyard squirrels love it, they will go through all the corn ears in less than a day. Too bad the corn ears are so expensive in pet stores, I get mine at Tractor Supply but they are about the same price there. I would like to find some place cheaper to buy the corn ears. Back to the feeder. It seems to be of good quality and will probably last as long as the one it replaces. It is pretty simple to install on a tree using the two long screws provided. You should use a drill to make some pilot holes for the screws first, as otherwise it will be very difficult to drive the screws into the tree trunk. It will not damage the tree. The drill bit you use should be a little bit smaller in diameter than the screw diameter. I think your squirrels will thank you for giving them such a fun plaything and also something they can eat. Squirrels love corn. They will drop a lot of corn kernels on the ground under the feeder, but don't worry about that as they will get on the ground and find and eat all of the corn kernels they dropped, That is unless you have dogs or cats loose in your back yard. By the way, I have two cats and they love to look through the windows on out sun porch to watch the squirrels play, so this feeder not only makes for happy squirrels but also happy cats. You will like your new squirrel feeder. If you have lots of squirrels, maybe you should consider getting more than one. Read full review

The Squirrel-Go-Round has worked just as we had hoped. With this and the addition of a squirrel baffle to our bird feeder, I'm filling the bird feeder much less now. Plus, it's much more entertaining to watch the squirrel acrobatics as they work for the corn, rather than watching them raid the bird feeder. My wife calls it the "squirrel circus." Based on reviews I read, I did opt to use cotter pins rather than the included clips to secure the arms to the hub. This seems much more secure, and I'd recommend this small modification. Otherwise, the quality is good, and we expect to get several years' use.

We bought this as a Christmas gift because we have enjoyed our Go-Round Squirrel Feeder. The only problem is the little bar for the squirrels to stand on, needs to be wider. No problem if you are a handyman like my husband. He added a wooden block for the squirrels to sit on. If you buy this, you will enjoy watching the tumbling acts of the squirrels. One word of caution, you will not be able to keep up with keeping it full of corn.

Squirrels can't tear this one up. Very well made and easy to assemble. It's a hoot watching them trying to attact the ears of corn. Will give you many years of enjoyment. I recommend it highly. Keith
