    NOT WATERPROOF!!

    The item title clearly states "Waterproof". This is why I purchased it. The document enclosed with the item states "Do not leave out on rainy day, will cause short circuit.". That doesn't sound very waterproof to me! It also suggests that it can be used to charge a boat. How do you charge a boat if you can't leave it outside? To only have it connected when you are with your boat is useless, it is far too small to have any impact on your battery. If you are going to put this in your car, it may work, but as a battery maintainer for a boat - useless.
