    good display - easy hook up

    The unit has a good display and the hook up was very easy. Came per-loaded and bypass valve was installed. I used shark bite with flex pipe attached , a 10 minute install. the rest was easy. moving it was the hard part, at 110 pounds Free shipping and arrived a day early .

    A lot of plastic

    I consider myself a DIY'er and quite handy, but the instructions supplied with this unit were terrible. The supplied instructions (numerous pamphlets) covered no fewer than 5 different models, so first you have to determine your model or type of valve head from the pictures. Making things worse many of the parts supplied do not pertain to your model. Lastly, several trips to the hardware and in panic as none of the connectors seemed to fit the threads on the valve head. Finally, I grabbed a di-electric fitting (who would have known) and it spun on the threads. The unit is working, but I've yet to fully set up my digital meter, as that's a whole different set of instructions and frustration.

    Water Softener

    Cost wise very good. Installed myself not too bad. Some of the installation instructions could have been a little more detailed but not too complicated. Programming easy. Didn’t mention but I should have assumed when you first put into operation it goes into the 2 am cycle. So be prepared after installation to be without water for 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on programmed settings. Will purchase next one again a tier 1. The digital controller much better than the mechanical types.

    Great value

    I had my water tested and was quoted 3k by the local high pressure outfit, and was for very much similar unit. This was priced a 6th the money and shipped really quick, super easy to install. My water feels so much better and looks great, and super simple to work! This is a great deal!
