The flow through these s faster and stronger than what you get with the original Pur version but that raises the question of whether or not these are filtering as effectively. There is no difference in the taste of the water. I installed the first one on 1/23 so it's close to 2 months and the indicator is still flashing green. With the original Pur product the indicator would start flashing amber after about 2.5 months so we'll see how this version holds up.

I've used PuR products since 2001. After a few years of steady use, an adapter stopped doing it's job on a faucet mount filter. I called PUR directly and after answering a few questions I'm sent out a new adapter for free. I got it in 3 days and it worked perfectly. This has happened a few times through the years and each time they've stood behind their products. Plus, my water tastes good.
