    Avisun UVB bird lamp good quality, reliable.

    I've been using this brand of lamp for five or six years. It has been reliable and I assume it is providing the right amount of UVB for my birds. Be sure to follow instructions, though, and replace the lamp after a maximum of one year, since the UV (and visible light) output gradually drops off. My avian vet recommends replacing every six months.

    Let there be light

    Kind of expensive, but my sun conure seems to like it! Sure helps to show off his beautiful colored feathers. This is my 3rd time replacing this bulb. The 2nd one lasted a long time, but eventually got hot and melted the bulb tubes out of the plastic socket. Even so, it still kept working. They say this type lighting is good for parrots. For that reason alone, I'll continue to use these bulbs!

    I've used these for my birds they have always been heathy. The sun bulb helps so much in the winter as we don't get the real sun shining much here in winter months. 😊
