This B & D LHT-2436 40 V cordless trimmer is great!!! I have a B & D electric trimmer which cuts pretty good but I got tired of the ext cord disconnecting and/or worrying about cutting the cord by accident. So, I opt for a cordless battery trimmer rather than gas. It arrived on time, charged pretty quick & cut through 20 bushes & trees like butter & I still had plenty of charge left. The only thing it didn't come with was a blade sheath which I ordered on ebay for $8.

    Easier than a corded electric, quieter than a gas powered. It's SUPERHEDGER!

    I've owned corded hedgers, and I've used gas-powered hedgers. This is more convenient to me than the other two types. The 40 volt battery runs for a long time before it needs to be recharged.

    Convenient

    The best thing about these battery operated B&D hedge trimmers is that they are light weight and fast cutting and they really run quite a while on one battery. I can usually cut about 200 feet of hedge on just one battery. Because of their light weight, don't expect them to hold up as long as more heavily built hedge trimmers; but they are great for home use.

    Convenient and ready to use easily

    Great to have a powerful, lightweight hedger without having to deal with gasoline, difficult starting or a long electric wire that has to be wound up and gets in the way. Works with the same battery I use on my Black and Decker weed whacker.

    CUT THE ELECTRIC CORD!!
