I've run a few thousand nails through this gun so far with no jams. But I have had two issues so far. My first issue has been that it stopped firing nails once which I thought was due to a jam. I took it apart and saw that no nail was jammed. I put it back together and still it would not fire. I changed the rack of nails to a different rack and it has fired fine since. This may have been because of the rack being defective, but they seemed fine. The rack had about 10-15 nails left in it when it stopped firing. The second issue I had was with the trigger sticking after being pressed. The plastic trigger was getting stuck in the plastic housing that it rides in. I used to some teflon spray to free it up which worked and it has worked fine since. If I hadn't had the trigger issue I would rate it 5 stars. I've really enjoyed using it. It sinks the 1 3/8 nails I've used perfect with the tip attached. Without the tip attached it leaves a pretty big dent in the wood. I've used this exclusively on pine and PVC trim so far so YMMV. Fires in pins, doesn’t bury the heads. This may be due to material thickness (19mm mdf) and/or 30mm pin length, but the heads ‘should’ be under the surface. They’re not. I’ve made all the adjustment there is. I shall be trying shorter pins and thinner boards, as well as looking to move that which the adjustment wheel moves, even further. We shall see. Good, user friendly design otherwise though.

Some of the reviews say that it doesn't drive pins far enough, but that has not been my experience. The adjustment wheel on the side takes care of that issue. I loaded it the first time incorrectly, and the first pin jammed. It wasn't hard to unjam, but it was inconvenient. The front plate comes off easily with two screws. hex head stored on the body. I found it easy to load and use, and with the built-in light, you can see what you are doing. Also, the trigger lock is easy to use, and adds a bit of safety. I'm glad I bought this pinner instead of the pneumatic one I also considered.
