Not Bad.
Was using rabbit ears could only get 2 channels of my locals that are 50 miles away, I used this item had it elevated pointed to where my locals are at, it scanned 14 channels, all the of the locals for me, it comes in clear for every channel I am surprised I would have gave it 5 stars, but I dropped from 5 feet high, and the side cracked/shattered the plastic, but it does work well for me, just dont drop it.

Ok but to directional!
Recently cut the cord and became cable free! This is a great product if you live in or close by a city, My picture quality was good especially the HD channels however the channels faded in and out mostly during the day. I was able to get 35 channels including all our local channels. Great product for close in reception! I just ordered a Sky 1666 outdoor rotating antenna which after testing I'll mount in my attic.

The best so far
I've tried 1/2 dozen different antenna and this is the best to date. Get about 40 channels and only downfall is that in heavy bouts of fog can't get much of a signal. As fog rarely happens, this is really not much of an issue. I like the clean design and it sits behind the tv hidden away. The old style of rabbit ears have been recycled and are a memory. I didn't notice much different in number of channels (less than 6) if the unit was connected to a power source. Live about 40 miles from Milwaukee area in rural site and don't subscribe to cable tv, so now have more than enough channels and don't support any cable companies with the nose bleed pricing of cable packages. Only pay for internet access and saves me hundreds of dollars a year. There are children in the house and there aren't any complaints. Go with the antenna and you should be fine.Read full review

Okay product, terrible packaging
The product is okay- doesn't pull as many channels as our other 50mile antenna. The worst part, I have to say, is that the item was packaged terribly. The entire box was wrapped in thick tape and it legitimately took 2 people 15 minutes to get it open with knives.

Are you in a bad reception area?
Before you buy any antenna understand where you are. The websites that tell you where the antennas are does not tell you how good your reception is where you live. I live in an area surrounded by high hills. The antennas within 50 miles of me are on the other side of those hills in all directions. I bought this product because it had great reviews and it was inexpensive. I wanted to find out if I could get any reception. In my case and nothing to do with the product, I have no reception. But for me it was better to find out with this product rather than spend a whole lot more and get the same results.
