I used to have the classic 8 ball years ago and the message cube worked much better in those models than the newer version. If your buying it for the look "eyeball design" its great! But just be aware there is a possible defect in the fluid inside. Its just a fun item for a table or desktop to look at really.

It's not really the "original" - the original had the "answers" floating up to the window, this one spins like a slot machine or something similar. You press the 8 on the ball to make it spin. On the original 8 ball, the answers floated up from the murk to the window. It was cooler.

Has a spring push button. Not as far as the original at all. But works well or the product that it is.

This eyeball is neat looking if you just want a big eyeball. The fluid inside is so dark you can't read the fortune when it tries to float up there in the liquid. It's worthless. Maybe mine was just a dud.
