I needed a shaver with international voltage compatibility for travel to Europe. My old Braun shaver does not have the feature; this new Remington does. It works fine, shaves as close as the Braun without nicks or cuts. It is not intended for use in the shower, and does not have a fancy sanitizing system. You just brush the foil and cutter block with the included brush, and rinse them as needed. I do not need those extra features, so it was nice to get a good shaver for $30 instead of $150+ for a Braun.

I had this exact model number for a few years and loved it. My son went off to college and took it with him so I bought another one. Something is wrong - it's about 3X louder, extremely obnoxious. It works just as good, but it wakes up the entire house. :-(

I have purchased Remington razors in the last 3 years that did not work well, hold a charge or give a close shave. This razor does all that. The one drawback is the pop out trimmer. It does not work as well as the previous ones that slide up as opposed to pop out. Two big advantages of this razor is it shows how much charge you have left and you can wash this razor's heads with water.

The shaver gives a nice close shave. I don't think you can beat it for the money. You don't have to push too hard. It is able to rinsed with water which is nice. On my shaver you can get about three more shaves after the red light comes on. Good economical shaver.

This shaver does okay but not as good as the triple header rotating type. In all fairness though my beard grows about three different ways. Shaver is well made and convenient to use and charge.
