Andrea Bocelli has one of the most beautiful voices ever !!!!!! This is a great showcase of the many different types of music he has mastered, his voice has so much range - from Operatic songs to jazz like songs and everything in between. The people who appear with Andrea Bocelli are a perfect compliment to his sound - Kenny G and Chris Boti are both on this dvd as well as some women with beautiful voices (sorry I don't know their names but WOW what voices). Andrea Bocelli also plays the piano in a few songs and that is flawless too. I get the goosebumps listening to these songs and I don't even understand all of the words (which are mostly in Italian which sounds beautiful anyway). I highly recommend this dvd to all music lovers.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED WATCHING IT, I WAS KIND OF DISAPPOINTED THAT HE WAS NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH, BUT I GOT OVER IT QUICK. IT WAS KIND OF SLOW IN THE BEGINNING, BUT TOWARDS THE MIDDLE AND THE ENDING IT WAS FANTASTIC. THE SCENERY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THE STAGING WAS GREAT. THIS MAN CAN SING AND VERY NICE TO LOOK AT. I STILL LOVE HIS OTHER CONCERT UNDER THE DESERT SKY BETTER THAN THIS ONE, BUT THAN AGAIN, I HAVEN'T WATCHED IT AS MANY TIMES AS UNDER THE DESERT SKY, BUT BELIEVE ME I'LL BE WATCHING THIS ONE OVER AND OVER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CONCERT TO ANY FAN OF ANDREA'S AND DEFINATELY RECOMMEND UNDER THE DESERT SKY.
I watched this concert on PBS. It was great! Andrea Bocelli sings from the heart and I have been truly moved by the music on this DVD. This DVD has more on it than what was broadcast on PBS, and the quality, even though not High Def, is really fantastic! His guest performers are superb and the choice of music absolutely perfect!
Bocelli returns to the Tuscan village of Lajatico for this outstanding musical event. It combines many favorites with vibrant new songs. Canto Della Terra is Bocelli at his best and brings a tear to my eye. Absolutely Beautiful!! He is joined by Heather Headley, Sarah Brightman, and Laura Pausini on this combo CD/DVD. Truly captivating!! Highly recommended for any Bocelli fan.
