I'm 61 years old and have played a guitar since I was eight years old. This guitar has a very nice tone and feels really nice. I needed to adjust the neck, but the allen wrench needs to be used with the long side inserted into the adjuster rod. I needed to use a metal tube to assist in the turning of the allen wrench. So I adjusted the neck and it is just a very, very nice guitar. I am totally surprised how this guitar can be made for this price. The action was acceptable without the adjustment, but I like to tinker with things. To sum up, this is an excellent beginners guitar and it really sounds great. I highly recommend this product. C. The good: finish quality of the body, neck, and fretboard aren't bad at all. Sound hole graphic looks nice, the construction is solid. The bad: the nut....wow. A bone nut with serviceable string grooves is like $4. This one looks like it had the grooves melted in with something hot. So bad that between that and 3 high frets it was unplayable out of the box, and my standards are pretty low. The pick guard was curling off the body, no problem I don't like them anyway. Tuners will work but are pretty bad. I changed the tuners to some better quality Chinese ones I had laying around, put a bone bridge and nut on, leveled 3 frets, and put new strings on. So for about $85 I have a usable and not bad sounding camping guitar. I would not recommend this AT ALL for a beginner or someone who isn't comfortable with making these changes as unless you receive a better example than I did, there will be a lot of frustration in their future.Read full review

Exceeds my expectations for $50. How they can make it and ship it free is beyond me and it even has an adjustable neck. Like I've read elsewhere, it's a good beginner guitar, the music is recognizable, it gives you as good idea whether you really want to get into guitars or not, with very little money risked. I got one for a friend and wanted to do some upgrades. I switched from plastic nut and saddle to bone nut and saddle, it was easy and required no adjustment afterwards. Replaced the cheap strings to higher end strings. Then filed the fret ends that were a bit sharp, bought a Chinese soft cover for $12. It's a pretty decent beginner guitar and is highly rated as a cheap beginner guitar throughout the internet. How can you beat it for $50?

Good buy! Get some extra strings & tuner. At selling price, nothing extra comes with it. Workmanship is excellent. Only issue- broke 3 strings- tuning. This is a full size guitar & probably to big for young learners. Older folks learner like me, works very well.

Purchased this item for my teenage son to practice and take to and from school. So far he has nothing but good things to say about it. It looks and feels really great. It will be very useful as he can take it around with him and I won’t cringe if it gets a little scuffed. Good item for the price.
