What people don’t know is that Marshall ferret food and other commercial ferret food is REALLY bad for ferrets. It’s pretty much like candy or fast food to them. You want a grain free, low to no peas in the ingredient list cat food. Marshall sells their food at such a high price and fails to tell you that their food is really low grade and can actually cause kidney and liver damage including insulinoma (which one of my 7 ferrets have BECAUSE she was fed Marshall’s before we rescued her & she’s only 2 and a half years old). If you love your ferret, please, go with a high quality cat kibble. We use Instict with the raw chunks in it and it gives a beautiful coat, healthy skin and weight and the nutrients they need. Just avoid ferret food at all costs as it will ruin your poor ferret in the long run. Trust me, it’s no fun seeing one of your babies with pancreatic cancer. It’s one of the number one killers among ferrets especially with commercial ferret food being fed to them, it’ll just speed up the process. It’s incurable so be safe with the food you give them.Read full review

I would recommend this ferret food. My ferret is kind of picky when t comes to types of food. I can tell when he doesn't like the brand of food because he flicks it out his bowl and makes a mess. This brand he hasn't done that. So thumbs up to good grade ferret food!
