My old hood after some twenty years needed replacing. So I did some shopping around and I chose this one. My ordered arrived in a timely manner. The new hood was easy to install. It's very simple to use. It has an off and on switch for which this was all I needed. The fan noise to me is very comfortable when in use. As for me this was a great buy. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

The under cabinet fan is a good one. However, because it is an undercabinet fan and not a vented one, the fan is too close to the bottom of the cabinet, therefore, there is hardly any draw over the stove. These non vented fans do not have enough clearance or space to draw any smoke up into it. If you need a practical fan and not one for decorative purposes mainly, then this is not the fan to get.
