The OEM mount that comes with the Ring "wired" spotlight camera has a limited range of movement, especially if you want to mount your camera more than 7 feet above the ground and need to angle the camera more towards the ground rather than the horizon. This aluminum mount allows you a much greater range of movement; however, it only allows you either more "up or down" or "right or left" movement, but not both at the same time. The quality of the mount is excellent and comes with all the necessary hardware to install it. See the attached photo of it installed.
