Most enjoyable for children and adults!
This is a family-friendly, very cute and funny movie. I've had it on my DVR for a long time, but finally decided to purchase a copy. I never get tired of watching it. The children in it are perfect for the movie. Eddie Murphy is a joy to watch as a nice dad who has been paying too much attention to work and not his sweet but lonely son.... and with his funny co-worker, both having lost their jobs, starts a day care with mixed results at first but then sweet success. Steve Zahn is a special treat.This is a family-friendly, very cute and funny movie. I've had it on my DVR for a long time, but finally decided to purchase a copy. I never get tired of watching it. Usually like Eddie's action movies better than comedy...but this movie is a hoot. Steve Zahn was my favorite character...stole the show. He has "perfect timing" for comedy roles. He kept me in stitches. I bought the movie to send to my sister who loved it too. No disappointment in this show...if your looking for entertainment. Really like the older Eddie (as I get older) and wish he did more movies of any kind. JB In KansasUsually like Eddie's action movies better than comedy...but this movie is a hoot. Charlie and Phil are so consumed by their high profile advertising jobs that they are completely missing out on the joys of fatherhood. After failing to excite the public about vegetable cereal, Charlie and Phil are fired from their ad jobs. That means no more expensive day care for their sons at the exclusive Chapman Academy, run by the harsh taskmistress Miss Gwyneth Harridan. While floundering aimlessly in search of employment and tending to his four-year-old son Ben during the day while his wife Kim is at work, Charlie has an idea. If he and Phil can handle taking care of two kids, how much harder can it be to supervise ten? Much harder than they ever imagined. Every kid is different and every one is a hilarious challenge, whether they're suffering from sugar rush, fantasizing about ... A Good Vehicle for Eddie Murphy
This movie is a good vehicle for Eddie Murphy in that he is very funny and featured with a bunch of kids. The kids are hysterical and the script creates some pretty funny characters. The interplay between struggling Dad Eddie Murphy and his fellow daycare operators is very entertaining, particularly when faced with the arduous task of caring for the kids. It is clean, creative and quite enjoyable, especially for those who have children of their own who can relate to the difficulties of taking care of, cleaning up after and educating children.This movie is a good vehicle for Eddie Murphy in that he is very funny and featured with a bunch of kids. The kids are hysterical and the script creates some pretty funny characters. The interplay between struggling Dad Eddie Murphy and his fellow daycare operators is very entertaining, particularly when faced with the arduous task of caring for the kids.
