This is the 2nd one I bought for my horses for daytime run-in shelter (or u can use them at night too) and they are much sturdier because of the bottom fence panels than garage tents some use. These hold up very well to the wear and tear of horses leaning on them and rubbing against them. It took two of us 4-6 hours to put up and the key is to separate out the pipes and nuts and bolts before hand. And we wouldn't attempt it on a windy day. A very good product but.... the pit falls are as follows and it's too bad because these are easy CHEAP fixes but very aggravating while trying to put this big canopy up. First, the bolts don't look much different and with bad eyesight and even with glasses, forget it, u can't read the code number on the top. How hard would it be for the manufacturer to put them in TWO separate plastic bags? It would have saved someone with bad eyesight an hour and the aggravation to do it. The next thing was that the ties on the four corners that tie down the entire canopy so the front and back don't fly off in the wind and rip your $400 canopy are so short we could barely make a knot. And I'm paranoid that won't hold or if we have to untie the knots to adjust the canopy from working itself off, after time the knot might not come undone and we'll have to cut the ties and buy all that length of strap and thread it through the front and back of the canopy, a tedious horrible job, which means taking the entire thing OFF after time which is always a nightmare Too bad. For about six more inches of strap for each corner and two tiny plastic bags this canopy would get a perfect score. Why cut corners with things so cheap and simple? Our first canopy had the bolts all in one bag and the difference in size (like a 16th or 32 of an inch are not apparent until you use them) as well but the tie down straps left plenty of length to sufficiently tie them unlike my second canopy kit. Otherwise, aside from these aggravations, the entire structure is great, I've had my first one over a year with no problems which caused me to buy another one.Read full review

It has been up for less than a week, but i believe that for the money, this is an excellent shelter. It was easy to put together and set up. Definitely a two person job. The materials seem to be really well constructed.

This is a good practical cover. It was not difficult to set up, however, you’ll need at least 2 people to do the job. We actually put 2 end to end because one of the horses would not let the other one in.

Highly recommend this to anyone with animals!!!! It took a day to set up fully but has so far withstood 4 cows and high winds here. We live on a hill top, so it can get VERY windy. My only suggestion is to use T posts for the corners to "hold it down", rather than the screw in auger posts that come with it. We live in a very rocky area, and it was next to impossible to get their screw in augers into the ground. The T posts pounded in, and then we attached the straps to that to keep it from blowing away. :) Also, we put the "roof" up lower than they show in the pictures, because we didn't need so much height on the inside.d We set it up about halfway up the round pen panels, and it worked just fine. I plan on buying another one of these for the horses. We are VERY happy with it!

its nice and works well in weather but my horse bit a huge hole in the corner in one day. protects horses well, needs better defense from horses.
