The product works great and looks beautiful. The only problem was it did not go as far as it should, the product ran out before the job was finished. It should have covered the square footage the product claimed.

I’m fairly handy. I found this product fairly painful to deal with. It looks nice when completed. Goo be Gone removes it. This product is expensive. Plan to use 3x the amount you’re anticipating. I used the 2.5 car kit on a 2 car garage and thought it covered. When I came back the next day I noticed that there were light spots that did not get enough paint and also some that got too much and were cracked like a dry lake bed. Definitely needed a second coat, so I bought another kit. Also, the finished surface is like ice when it’s wet. I’m also going to add the top coat with the sand grit. Frankly it’s not safe as is, too slippery and I know someone will get injured. Some how I also managed to get a spot that was improperly mixed and never cured. I managed to recover with an hour of scraping and a bottle of goo be gone. This project took way more time then expected, way more material and way more effort. Did I mention the 2 days of prep to clean the concrete surface? The previous owner of my home used a floor paint that chipped up after a few years. I was thinking this epoxy kit would be a quick remedy. I probably should have just left the ugly floor alone.Read full review

I have never written a review on any product, but I must on this. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the Rock Solid. I've used Rust-Oleum's epoxy coating many times on concrete basement floors and it worked great. I built a new garage and saw they had the newf Rock Solid Polycuramine floor coating that was supposed to be superior to the epoxy. I followed the directions to a T. The first coat left a lot of separation lines and fish eyes. I ended up putting three coats on the floor to make it look decent. I still couldn't fully cover the separation lines or fish eyes. They were still noticeable. The other two coats, that I put over the first one, didn't have a smooth, glass like finish like the first coat did. Over all it ended up costing me over $1.000 to make it look decent. I only hope it holds up like they claim. The floor has been cured for 48 hours and I accidentally dropped a 24mm wrench today and it chipped the coating. I was not impressed. The problem is once I started, and saw how bad the first coat looked, like the old saying goes "in for a penny, in for a pound".Read full review

The reason I give it a 3 star is that you had better plan on buying TWICE the recommended amount for your floor.. The coating is superior, if you want iut to look good, plan on twice as much!

Great product. I would recommend using primer before applying this product to the floor. Using primer would save money and floor would look great and smooth. If primer is not used then you will need more (double or triple) of this product than recommended.
