You know a book is good when you take it everywhere… hints why it has some wear and tear 🙂 this is a great read for someone who knows exactly what they are in need of when it comes to relationships but don’t really know how to put their finger on it. With insight from both the male and female perspective it is u matched. You gotta be open to understand to receive the gems that are on these pages ! I wanted to give it 5 but I was so heart broken that there’s no second part yet hahah … wait are you waiting for “buy now”

I really enjoyed it. Finished in a week!! Let me tell you, I have NEVER finished a book completely. Ever. That seems really ridiculous now that I’m saying it, but it’s true. This book is probably more relatable to young adults, but still has a lot of good advice to anyone in today’s dating world.

I am 26. My boyfriend and I broke up two weeks ago and this book was very relatable to situations and experiences I’ve gone through in my dating life in general and it helped SO much. It was like a free therapy session every time I opened it. My life isn’t completely back to normal because I read it but it helped me reflect, get a handle of my emotions and realize my self worth again.

I like the book, and find it very interesting and relatable. However, I may be younger than most people who have read the book, as a 22-year-old. I see both sides of the reviews; it has such keen perspective (found within the dialogue mainly) that it makes any one who has dated in this generation smile and shake their head in complete recognition and agreement. I found myself reading parts of the first chapter to my best friend out loud. That part is undeniable, he absolutely nailed some of the absurdities about today's dating world and makes anyone who has given too much of themselves only to find themselves heartbroken a fresh, important perspective from the eyes of some of the characters. However, every time it gets to this point it barely touches the surface and leaves readers craving more depth. Somewhere in between the choppy writing and rushed storyline (if you can even call it a storyline) there seems to be one of the most important lessons we could all take from this book and our dating culture in general, love yourself first. It's sad this lesson gets so lost within a shallow storyline that by the end feels so incomplete and rushed you're left feeling like you just read something a high school student had to write and finish before a big deadline. Bottom line, touches the surface of some of important coming-of-age lessons we all need to be more cognizant of, but falls short where it really could have packed a punch.
