This book explains so much of what I've always felt about the world. Thr Shamanistic viewpoint makes so much sense and explains things I've encountered but couldn't articulate.

This is a book of a very wise and amazingly intuitive man who has truly an incredible spiritual connection that most of us humans can just dream about. I don't know anything about shamanism but I know that all what he is saying in this book is his true opinion, experience and insight. Not many people are this authentic and like this in the service to humanity in order to help humanity. I watched also (after having read his book) an interview where he said he wanted actually stay away from any social media, but a friend of him convinced him that he owes this humanity to help so he finally got convinced, and I read in other reviews that he appears to some because of this and being a celebrity and being on the news like he would be "superficial", which is very sad. To speak in less shamanic but more MBTI related terms I am convinced that he is a deeply empathetic INFP (I first thought ENFP but he mentioned somewhere something which excludes that he is an extrovert, he must be an introvert) using cognitive functions Fi, Ne, Si, Te, and only because of the horrible abuse he suffered during childhood (although he got back his connection to his intuition by the "spiritual death" when he was in his twenties) there are so many protective dynamics working (we all have them when we suffered abuse) to prevent to let go of a rest of anger like some mentioned in reviews. But this does not take away at all his amazing intuitive feeling insight and this book will serve everybody who can overlook that some anger still shines through. He has an amazingly good heart and he has served humanity already in incredible ways by amongst others writing this book so that people like me who are not living close to where he is working in the USA can also profit from his insight. I highly recommend reading it if you are truly would like to connect better to your intuition, because he has amazing excercises included for getting in touch with your own intuition. But while reading please don't worry about the parts where he suggest to "thank your abuser" (I cannot and I think many of you guys neither). I get what he is saying, that one always needs to ask what one learned from it to spiritually grow and I agree with that, but I would not formulate it in these terms. I've made the experience that the only way to truly let go of all the pain and stop the suffering is to allow all the emotions that arise to be processed, in solitude shouting it out, crying it out, pressing it in a pillow etc. (like it is done in somatic body therapy and lifespan integration therapy) to get the tensions that it created out of the body. Since the injustice that is done to us stays until we can acknowledge it and also the awfulness of it. So I would recommend this book to be read reflectively and with the heart, so that you can profit from the full treasure that it contains!
