In truth, I have encountered many bugs in Windows 10. Windows 7 was very stable. Perhaps this is a result of my doing an upgrade vs a totally clean install. Who knows?
Costs more than the run-of-the mill computer book, but you get more, and so it is absolutely worth it. I
would give it a 6 if I could.

Un modo molto proficuo di utilizzarlo è affrontandolo con una prima lettura veloce, che consenta di recepire dove si trovano le informazioni che ciascuno considera più importanti e meritevoli di una lettura di studio successiva.
This book has 822 pages - including index, has grayscale images on great quality paper and good size of the text for those requiring specs.
* Target audience, H.N.D, Undergrad, post grad, Masters?
Its aimed as H.N.D level primarily.
* What's it cover then?
Chapter 1 What you need to know about Windows 10, Chapter 2, Installing, Configuring, and Deploying Windows 10, Chapter 3 Using Windows 10, Chapter 4 Personalising Windows 10, Chapter 5 Managing Updates, Chapter 6, Installing and Configuring Modern Apps and Desktop Apps, Chapter 7 Using and Managing built-in Windows Apps, Chapter 8, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, Chapter 9, Storage and File Management, Chapter 10, Cortana and Windows Search, Chapter 11, Managing User Accounts, Password and Credentials, Chapter 12, Performance and Power Management, Chapter 13 Windows Networking, Chapter 14, Hardware and Devices, Chapter 15, Troubleshooting, Backup and Recovery, Chapter 16, Hyper - V, Chapter 17, Managing Business PC's, Chapter 18, Windows Security and Privacy, Chapter 19 Powershell and Other Advanced Management Power Tools, Chapter 20 Maximizing Productivity on a Portable PC, Appendix A, Windows 10 Editions and Licensing Options, Appendix B, The Windows Insider Program, Appendix C,Help and Support Resources, Index
The book is in my opinion designed to help clients with a deeper taste requirement, as compared to 'Windows 10 for Dummies' but at H.N.D level. But as deep exploration at H.N.D level. It's not as complex as say, setting up Microsoft servers, but certainly usefully explored information. It does express topics that I have not encountered before, and I learned about things, Such as Hyper - V, I just knew about Oracle VM VirtualBox Machines. I learned a lot of information from the bulk of this book, even the easier, introductory level stuff, such as File Explorer! I had not previously registered some levels of information, and to be made aware of this by being refreshed is helpful.
* Summary
Great book for more experienced Home + users. You will learn new stuff even for well-seasoned users. This book covers stuff I have not been aware of before. It's a great book of many uses and a real education to read. Its a great book and a fascinating read.
Ed Bott's irritating love of Microsoft will keep you amused for hours on end with Windows Inside Out! Worthless feature? Incomprehensible privacy sacrifice? Goodness no! Ed Bott markets the smithereens out of Windows leaving you speechless with glee or rage! Buy now and learn how to put your personal life in the hands of this always-online, never-relenting stack of nightmares and you'll surely be heftily rewarded.
If you were hoping to learn about file permissions, registry and other internals...apparently they're not in this book at all.
Btw, page 34, I can't understand why why why he didn't just Google how to make a larger than 4GB iso... No WinPE and advanced deployment tools are not necessary. And no it's not difficult and in fact I can't understand why he spent 300 words saying how complicated it is, instead of just providing the solution. Instead he drops a bitly link to Microsoft with an-as usual -overly complicated method to accomplish something that should have been provided with the system years ago, let alone steps to workaround that lack in the book...
