The download is dated; Oracle has JDK 10 and NetBeans 8. Download NetBeans with JDK 8 works. Also I was looking to do Mandelbrot set. There should be something on graphics more than GUI. Otherwise, a good introduction to the language. I Bing-searched the Oracle web site with questions about classes.

I don't know if it's only on my book, but between pages 66-67 it gives you the steps to start understanding if statements and it's missing point number 1, so I guess I can't do anything because don't know what step 1 is
