While I have not yet used this batch, I have used the product for many years, and I do recommend over-kill if you have bugs! i.e. use a bit more than recommended. And plan to be gone several hours. 4 or more. This stuff kills everything in the house, including small scorpions! Got the black widows in the garage, too. Used 2 cans there. On one batch some failed to activate and Raid replaced them. This only happened once. Had the second box over a year and opened yesterday, to find two cans open and leaked the chemicals. The third seemed ok, and it activated yesterday. The other two did not.

I've been living in my current place for about five years and it seemed this year was the worst infestation of ants I've ever had. I tried using an eco-spray that just didn't seem to work anymore on them. Still the bugs continue to come in every room in my home to my dismay and frustration. Since they were in every single room I thought I'm going to have to fumigate my place as that's the only way it's going to stop their invasion. I removed my pets and their food bowls and water fountain along with my bedding and a number of other things. I covered everything with plastic just in case and to my pleasant surprise found it wasn't necessary. It was so easy to use this fogger as all one had to do was set up the plastic cup with a little bit of water and put each canister into the plastic cup. I set up three foggers in three different areas of my 800 square-foot home apartment to make sure I covered the whole place to get rid of the bugs. I had time to set up all three canisters and leave my place before the fogging started. There was no residue and was left with a nice floral scent in my place. I opened all the windows and turned on couple of fans to air out my place as per the instructions. I did this on December 21 and today is February 6 and so far I haven't seen any live ones and I'm hoping it stays that way. Hopefully the bugs got the message and won't come back but if they do I will use this product again. I was informed by a pest control rep that the bugs are especially persistent due to the four year drought here in California and were probably coming because they were desperate for water and food. My infestation may have been because of a leak under the kitchen faucet that has since been fixed. Even with keeping my place as clean as possible, it still may be that one needs to use this fogger 1-2 times a year and also spray outside with Raid bug spray which I have as well. Definitely recommends this product as very effective.

I was very impressed with the effects. I tried a different fogger last year with minimum success. The cat brought fleas again this year (might be the same ones from last year) and I decided to try the Raid fogger. I got six of them and set up 1 in the basement, 2 in the two rooms on the first floor, and 3 in the two rooms on the 2nd floor. I turned them around 7 PM (the chemical effect is pretty cool and gives you about 20-30 secs before it starts producing gas). I came back around 9 AM to open the windows and came back in the house around 1 PM (at which point the smell was gone).

As a test, I set up a flea trap at the same time. It's been a couple of weeks, but the only things it's caught are some flies.

EDIT: After a couple of weeks, the fleas have returned. This is probably not the fogger's fault, as I don't expect it to kill eggs. Probably two or three runs are necessary to fully eliminate the colony. I'm ordering another box and will give it a shot.

I’ve been using this type of product for many decades. This last batch of six units were totally useless, nothing more than a puff of smoke. My experience is when that happens they are old. Totally useless. I suggest buying them in the store and you know they are fresh not online.
