It's a large glandular organ. When life gets you down, watch a silly movie. This one is great and features a series of interrelated though distinct vignettes. Some great musical numbers, send ups of organized (and disorganized) religion, class, and social norms, and weird and disgusting sight gags abound.

A "must have" for all Monty Python fans. A documentary about life with several hilarious skits. Not for children.

"Monty Python's The Meaning of Life" is a classic comedy film from the iconic comedy troupe Monty Python. The film is a series of skits and musical numbers that satirize various aspects of life and society, such as religion, sex, and death. The film is divided into seven segments, each dealing with a different stage of life.

The humor in the film is irreverent, absurd, and often tasteless, but it is also clever, witty and highly original. The film features some of Monty Python's most memorable sketches, such as the "Fish slap dance" and the "Catholic schoolboys" skit. The musical numbers are also noteworthy, including the catchy "Every Sperm is Sacred" and "The Galaxy Song."

The Meaning of Life is a film that is not for everyone, as it is not afraid to push boundaries and tackle taboo subjects. But for fans of Monty Python and for those who enjoy offbeat and unconventional comedy, it is a must-see. It is a movie that will make you laugh, think and question the meaning of life in a hilarious and irreverent way.

Overall, "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life" is a classic comedy film that has stood the test of time. It's a perfect blend of absurdity, satire and wit that will leave you in stitches and questioning the meaning of life itself.

3rd and believe last Monty film from 83'. If you enjoyed the first two, Monty Python & the Holy Grail from 75' and Life of Brian from 79', this one will have you laughing just as much. Of course, those of you who are Python fans already know this. This Blu-ray version has a hour long 30th anniversary bonus feature where the group talks about making the film which is quite entertaining as well.

Easily one of the funniest films ever made. I remember growing up watching the show and the movies with my father. Now that he is passed on I love to watch this movie as it was one of his favorites. It makes me feel like he's right there laughing with me

Not for the religious or faint of heart, Monty Python group never fails to make fun of the status quo and highlight the absurdity of the current social climate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Die richtige Synchro!

I think it is the best of the Python films. With classic sketches like"Live Organ Donation"; "The Incredible Exploding Man"; "Every Sperm Is Perfect..." you cannot fail to laugh long and hard.
