    All the product info on line at Amazon and the paper inset said 1/2 inch mpt threads. They were not! They were 3/4 inch mpt threads. I returned the filter telling them it was the wrong thread size. I ordered another filter with 1/2 inch mpt threads and GESS WHAT the 2nd filter arrived with 3/4 inch dia threads. Not happy never had this problem with Amazon. Update to water filter. A detailed inspection of the water filter material is of excellent quality.

    I really looked into all the different ones of these and this one worked out the best for us. I like that we can see the filter and what it's doing. I had another that was solid and you just could never tell what was going on inside without pulling it out. It does the job for what is needed in our shower.

    I hooked up 2 of these in a boat to filter all water coming in. The first stage holds a sediment filter, the second stage holds a carbon block filter. All in all, these work well. I did have some leaking where I connected the 2 units together, but I believe that I may need to put a bit more teflon tape on the fittings that I bought for these.
