Great Stocking- Lots of time involved
Love this stocking, this is my 4th, each grandkid gets one and just finished this so ordered another. All of them different of course. I found some of the materials were not as high quality as the first one I made in 2016 and I ran short on a couple thread colors. I save all the threads, sequins and beads from all the previous projects so wasn't too much of an imposition. I wish the beads were a little larger with a bigger hole... I am having trouble finding a needle that is that thin and when I do it's horrible to try to thread it, not to mention my eyes aren't as young as they used to be. One final note, it usually takes me about a year to finish one. I tend to like the more intricate complicated stockings. I don't work on it every day though. Going to try and keep track of my time on the next stocking

All parts were included and well marked. I have made several Bucilla Christmas stockings and are worth every penny. Do know though that it takes about 100 hours to complete one -- but then again I'm a perfectionist when it comes to having every stitch and sequin in its exact place so that the finished product looks, well -- looks like a professional made it. After all those hours and considering each will be considered an heirloom, it is well worth the effort. Due to the quality of Bucilla kits, it is now the only one I ever use. (Note: I modified the kit not due to the kit itself but to be more in keeping with the person I was giving it to.)

I made this as a gift for my nephew. Easy to make, although the tree ornaments were pretty small and takes a little effort to sew and stuff.

This is my fifth stocking and felt like this one was kind of easy to do. A great beginner stocking except that this Bucilla kit doesn’t include as many picture instructions as others. I had problems with the gold thread breaking and separating but shouldn’t be surprised since this kit was made 8 years ago. I used ALL of the gold beads for the tinsel and wish I had more since my bottom strand didn’t hang as much as I would have liked. Also, not pictured is the personalized name in the large ornament handing from the tab.Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2019
