I purchased a pair of 6x8 speakers, installed them in less than 30 minutes and the result... my expectations were blown away.

The sound quality is out of this world for the price. Clarity is top-notch. The speakers do lack in bass, but that’s okay because that’s the purpose of a comprehensive sound system with supplemental subwoofers.

As far as power, this is where I had the biggest surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I will tell you these speakers are insanely loud! I’m running them on an aftermarket head unit, which pushes about 50W per speaker. (Pretty close to most stock head units). I COULDN'T EVEN TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP WITHOUT HURTING MY EARS! The best part is, the speakers maintain clarity and performance even when you have them cranking loud. I opened my doors and played some music while I worked on the property, and it sounded like a huge sound system was playing.

You will not regret these speakers, and don’t fuss about an amp for them. Save that for your subs. You will be pleasantly surprised for how much bang for your buck you will get with these speakers. They are absolutely incredible.

Very impressed with speakers so far. I am by no means an audiophile, and bought these speakers because they were from a reputable brand at a low price and would be a massive upgrade over the OEM Ford fleet quality speakers. Installation went as expected, with no issues, even for someone who has never done a car audio installation before. Just took my time and did my research and made sure I wired the polarities correctly. I was initially upset with the quality of sound, but after a quick setting change (took the volume off of max) on the input device the speakers came to life. With a little more tuning and fiddling at the headunit, they now sound phenomenal. These are not hooked up to amp, but straight from a Sony headunit.

Sounds MUCH better than the Factory speakers.... They are not a miracle. Without an amp of any sort coming off the factory head they are just going to sound like speakers that you would expect to find in a 50k stock truck with no amp. "Hint" Real speakers instead of Paper FORD crap. So yeah they sound MUCH better and are a good choice in upgrading your sound system they won't be "rattling windows" or have the "clarity of angels on high" however I have yet to put these speakers to an amp or crossover and I am not in any way an expert. I put these speakers in my truck in about an hour first time installing the speakers in this truck. 4 out of 5 stars I wish they would charge the extra5 bucks for the speaker hook up in one kit.

Great speakers! I purchased a total of 4 speakers for my 1998 Ford Windstar, which had all blown speakers. Three of them fit just fine in the driver door, front passenger door, and back driver's-side side panel. The one I put in the back passenger-side side panel had to have some spacers to make it come out further (because the wall was in the way). For some reason, Ford did not make a deep enough recess for that speaker to fit properly. Now I can enjoy the music put out by my brand new stereo, with these great sounding speakers.

Another thing I want to mention is the fact that my speakers did not come with grills. It was not an issue for me since my vehicle already had grills. But the description states grills come with these and people have answered in the questions section that they come with them. Even the packaging I received does not show grills as included accessories and does not picture them on the boxes at all.

Price to value on these are great. I would recommending getting some vibration dampening material to quiet all the rattles and bumps these speakers will make over the stock speakers though if you are keeping the stock panel. Aftermarket speakers of any kind won’t be 100 percent exact fit.

Pretty responsive bass once I adjusted all the levels where I wanted them on the equalizer. they don’t really replace subwoofers, but it’s a nice amount of bass from a 2-way. If any speaker sounds like it’s making a BLATT sound or you are trying to make it perform like a subwoofer when it is clearly made for something else, you are either doing it wrong or you need to adjust stuff

These are a great replacement for a blown set, but as an upgrade, if someone were to listen the day before and the day after an install, they would likely not notice a difference. I recommend upgrading just tweeters if you do not plan to amp the doors. These made highs a little brighter but the mids are lacking. About the same decibel output as OEM. 2013 F150 FX4 Supercrew with the Sony System.
