This shaver works great. I get a close and comfortable shave, and it rivals a regular (manual) blade, when I use it as described in the instructions, which is when used wet with cream. That's right - a cordless electric shaver is best used wet. Nobody thought I used an electric when I was done. I didn't get any discomfort from using it, either. I couldn't recommend this shaver more highly! It runs a long time on a charge, and because it's powered by a lithium battery, I don't have to worry about discharging before I recharge it, either, so I can recharge it before a trip or anytime I want.

This ain't your grandpa's razor

It's a shame that Norelco sold their company to the Chinese. It shows in the quality and lack of features. This razor is okay, and I think I was told that Norelco builds it, but I doubt it. It lacks the floating head, not to be confused with the floating cutters, that the Norelco's of the past had. When cleaning it, I just don't get the feeling of fit and finish that I did from the shavers 25 years ago. Still, I guess it's the times we live it. It's not a bad razor, just not as good as they used to be.

I got it, and I shave about three-four time a week. (I am retired).The battery seems like it will never run down-so far.
It gives me a good shave and I like the fact that I can just run it u8nder the water to clean it out.
