Hi, I was having trouble with my old AT&T phone, which I had for several years. I really liked my phone and wanted to just replace it. So, I went to the store to see about getting a similar one. I was surprised to find out that the store didn't have it anymore. They had some other cheaper one's that I've never heard of before. Also most of them had several extra handset's that I don't need. When I went to look on amazon, I found exactly what I was looking for. It's very similar to my previous one and has one additional handset which is what I wanted. It was easy to hook up and it works perfectly. The sound is very clear and loud enough for me. The answering machine part works perfectly as well and I don't miss a call. The numbers are big and light up. I'm very satisfied with my new AT&T phone Answering System. Thanks!

WE finally destroyed our old Clarity phone after many years of outside work, travel to many rooms for lengthy talks, and playing catch with it, with occasional fumbles by the object of the.call, calls at night with those big letters and numbers lighted up, and I could go on. We love this new phone set by AT&T and you will too, for a long, long time. Sound and tone quality is great and the size of the numerals/letters is a must for folks with some vision problem or for a time you can't find your glasses but need to make a quick call. Need a portable phone....buy Clarity.

My old version of this phone finally died after 6 years. I could have probably just changed the batteries but I got this newer model at a great price so I felt it was time to get a new one. All in all, decent phone, good sound quality and they updated the look and made the features a little easier to operate. The only thing I do NOT like about this newer model is the cradle and the base of the phone itself. There are two design flaws. The phone does NOT stand up on its own. The older model did and I liked that. This one you have to lie down flat if off the cradle. Also, the old cradle was at a slight angle so that the phone slipped into the cradle nicely and stayed put. This new one has no angle and the phone stands straight up on it rather than settle into it a little. This means that if I am in a hurry or not careful enough the phone doesn't connect with the cradle and I have dropped it a couple of times. It should lean back into it more rather than stand straight up. I don't know why the makers of this phone thought this was a good idea. Also, don't really know what the arm is for. I keep it straight up and have never used it. Older model did not have one. Maybe some people have a use for it. I don't. One other minor complaint. Sometimes I need to lift the cradle to dust under it since it sits on my desk. The volume control buttons for the ringer are on the side of the cradle so whenever I go to lift it I always end up making the phone ring. Not a deal breaker but a nuisance when it happens. If you need to lift the cradle from the sides (which is the way most people will do it) for any reason, you will cause your phone to ring. Again older model didn't have that. Other than that, I am happy with it for the price and it will be well worth it if I get six years out of this one. Time will tell as I have read in some reviews that this dies after 2 years. So we will see.

I've always read thru the "Best Cordless Phone of.." yearly lists, and have purchased Uniden & Panasonic sets in the past.
But these AT&T phones are a cut above - solid construction ( the Pannys used to flex & squeak in your hand, very cheap feel, and sound quality was also poor). These are solid, have big clear buttons, sound quality is both adjustable and clear, even the digital answering machine has good clarity compared to many others I've owned. For 3 phones at this price, to me it is a no brainer. Am getting another set for my Mom who wearing hearing aids.

i recently replaced my old uniden landline phones with these. my old uniden phones had terrible battery life... 20minutes into a call, especially those longer ones on-hold with directTV and such, the uniden phones just wouldnt last. a few months later, even after replacing the batteries, my old uniden phone wouldnt even hold charge... so i bought these. the price was attractive. its cool that it came with 2 handsets. it was easy to replace and you can pretty much put the 2nd handset anywhere that has a power outlet, just as long as its not too far away. i got the main in the kitchen and the other in a bedroom. answering machine is great. lots of options... i dont really use the landline often, but its great to have options... family and important people get the cell, the others get the "Please leave a message after the beep"
