We ordered our Commander from Amazon & saved about half of what SiriusXM charges for it on their website.
The radio arrived promptly & in good condition, complete with everything needed for install. We had ours professionally installed in our 2019 Honda CRV(base model). If you're handy at such things, you could probably install it yourself. The radio looks, sounds, & works great. We did order a software update cable for the Commander, from SiriusXM, and we've used it to download updated software(from SiriusXM for free) & transfer the software to the Commander radio, via the cable. The cable is very inexpensive and the instructions for downloading updated software are available on the SXM website. A great radio at a great price! We recommend the Commander radio if you're interested in adding an XM radio to your vehicle.

Complicated set-up. Great reward.
Ok so my review on this product is kinda complicated. The first: the installation-The installation is pretty difficult not gonna lie. If you decide to install flush with the existing plastic in your car then it would take even longer. I decided to mount the radio with some simple Velcro I picked up at Napa Auto Parts. For the wiring, you have to use the included wiring harness. There is no usb/cigarette lighter adapter. They recommend having the wiring professionally done, but I didn’t want to pay $120 for a $60 radio to be installed. The easiest thing I found to do was tap into the fuse board and use the existing fuses. I did this by getting a fuse tap (also from NAPA) for about $15. (I actually had to use two of them. I ran the wiring and taped it all on.Also about the audio hookup, I decided to use a cassette to aux adapter. I didn’t want to do anything that would take more than 10 minutes to undo. Using the included FM adapter would prevent that from happening. You can also use an existing aux port.The second part: post-installation - honestly the touch screen is small. It can’t be more than an inch and a half high and no more than three inches wide. For a guy with fat fingers that makes it somewhat difficult to use all the fancy features. But overall very good, if you can take about twenty minutes to take the time needed to figure it all out.Overall - I think this is a great setup. I think that the smaller seen section. (Meaning that the receiver is hidden) I personally had a hard time figuring all of this out because this is a newer unit without many videos and how-to guides so it does take some patience.
