Beautiful headphones, and for the costings, much better than Beats Studio 2.0 wireless even though they're not as bass heavy as the Beats. For these JBLs, vocals/bass isn't balanced because the vocals seem to get buried underneath the bass and for certain tracks can sound a bit muddy. The clarity is mediocre but considering the price point, these headphones can't be beat.
And we all know Beats headphones are not and simply shouldn't be the industry standard, they ARE the best marketed and thus most popular headphones and the brand most considered while headphone shopping. My brand preference for headphones is Sennheiser, though I did try out the Denon AH-MM400EM. And while sound quality and clarity for the Denon's was unmatched, these were rather light on the bass side which simply won't do for me as I need to "feel the music". LOADS of rap passing through my ears. :-)
Back to these JBLs, the dusty rose color is quite fashionable and the bluetooth wireless connectivity (though cords come with these cans so wired listening is also an option) for up to two devices makes this a worthwhile investment. The over ear design fits a big snug so after a while one may find some readjustment necessary.
These headphones aren't noise cancelling but I experienced minimal ambient noise interference. These headphones need a better, more protective carrying case as this nylon bag won't cut it. And be careful transporting/storing these beauties as they don't fold down.
I really like these and am looking forward to breaking these in.

I bought my first headset 2 years ago. Once, while working out, I bent over and the headphones slipped off my head. When they hit the ground, one of the ear cups broke away from the headphones. I was able to get a replacement pair and 9 months later they broke in the same place. I can still use them but they are not in the best shape. I recommend engineering them a little differently.
