Now keep in mind that when you start the game there's only a few mini games to start from. Which if you have not played them for the first time then it will put you in tutorial or basically a video showcasing how to play the game. You just have to wait a while until the tour is over then you can continue on the game. Luckily Nintendo allow the skip option to skip the tutorial once you played at least once. As you do the rest of the mini-games you unlock all 28 mini games which is pretty fast in my opinion. Some of them are pretty fun. Some of them are kind of strange. But it was a very fun little board game out on the go. Which me and my friends actually played outside while she was waiting to get her switch during launch games. I can see people doing this and lines or hotels when they don't have nothing to play they can play this.
I wouldn't recommend paying $50 for this. However I do think $20 is appropriate title for it. As for if this game should be a packin title a lot of people complained about it why it's not packin. In my opinion it's because that this only showcases the HD Rumble but people will look at this game as another Wii sports successor gimmick or the console being another Wii successor. Which apparently that's not with the switch is all about. This system has those features but the switch is more focus on the hardcore Gamers out there or more to Gamers overall and taking it where you wish. This is just more to the casual and kids that might have fun playing it. Some complaints that this is not actually a game. Now that I disagree with. Because this actually is a game. Just not the kind of game that you put on a hand controller. But it's similar to Wii Sports. This is exactly when Nintendo advertised in the Showcase. As I've been keeping up with them and this game is quite what I expected so don't believe those people that got misled from the advertisement it's exactly how it was shown. Now this game is not everyone's cup of tea. If you like two player standing up action, versing people by looking them in the eye then I would recommend it. But if you're the type that just plays games with a standard controller and you don't really go to parties or you don't really have friends to play with then I don't recommend this game at all. I also played this by myself and I didn't see no problem with it as I also enjoyed my own fun just to mess around. But at all I think it's a good game. However I do wish Nintendo would make another Nintendo Land game because that was one of the games that my friends wanted to kept playing on the Wii U for a very long time along with Game and Wario. it was so fun to play with 5 players.

the entertainment value was so high on these mini games that we decided to focus on these games and save others for next time. Based on these alone, worth it. There are also a massive expansion potential here to keep the game fresh for years to come. Based on the type of game this is/potential, I don't see Nintendo ever including this game as a pack-in (free) game versus something like Mario Kart Deluxe 8. I also don't see this ever becoming a bargain bin game since it would be so easy for Nintendo to release expansion packs every year for this game. If you are holding on thinking for a special down the road, you are more likely to see price hikes since physical availability will be a factor once people get the concept as I had at least one non-gamer friend saying he will buy the Switch based on 1/2 Switch.
My thoughts is that If you like half of the 28 games on here, worth it. I know I will like others (milk, safecracker, sword fight) so I can easily make this a five star review.
I will post my thoughts/details on the specific mini-games once we get to them all in the next couple of weeks.
If there's one thing this game does extraordinarily well, it's create a fun party with your friends. This game has me laughing and having a good time with friends, even if some of the games in this package are questionable. I do have to admit though, most of the games included in this title are actually pretty good, only a few of them in my opinion are not that good. The real star of this title, though, is the Team Battle mode, which pits two teams together in a board-game style race to the finish while playing a random selection of the game's minigames. The random selection of games and the luck of the spinner to move can make this mode pretty exciting, and strategizing which team member would be the best pick for each minigame can lead to some pretty intense competition. One last thing to mention is this game actually surprised me with how good each game's controls works, and how it really does show off everything the new Joy-Con controllers are capable of.
It may be overpriced, but it's still fun. Dumb fun, but still fun. It's definitely a unique experience for this system and it's worth checking out, but I would try to pay no more than $25 for it. It IS a party game after all, and there's no reason to ever play it by yourself.
