Installed in the rear panels of my dakota club cab replacing some 15 year old 4 way pioneers that never sounded right.
Running 75 watts Rms to each, These mids really compliment my 2 10" subs under the rear seat in a mtx thunderform.
It really sounds like I added 2 more subwoofers to my truck and all my front staging is in the front like it should be now!
Excellent price for excellent great sounding loud and clear speakers. I bought these, the old model instead of the newer ones because the frequency goes lower then the new, do not know why they changed that but I love these!
***UPDATE**** 2/21/2020 After over a month installed they sound even better after a break in period, I am able to turn the gain up on the amp with 0 distortion at 120hz high pass crossover and now my 600 watts going to subwoofers have trouble keeping up. No one beleives I only paid $29.95 for this pair of speakers. I have JBL's up front and they easily sound just as good.

Used them as midrange drivers for a tower build, they do ok.
It's hard to determine whether I like these or not. At $30 for a pair, they're a steal. However, they have their faults, depending on they type of sound you want. First, don't use these for any kind of bass, they really don't have any. Also, don't try to use them as full range drivers, once they get near 4KHz they sound a bit harsh, so use them with a tweeter or have a low pass set at around 4KHz or lower. When you play them really loud, they tend to get a bit harsh and shouty sounding, but at regular and low volumes they sound good and clear. These are a forward sounding speaker, voices are put right out front along with drums, etc. If you prefer a warmer tone, these are not for you, they're a bit on the brighter side on vocals. I don't know if I'll ever replace these with something better, I think to get something better I'm gonna have to spend at least $80 per speaker, so that at least tells you that they can hang with some higher priced speakers. Highly recommend them for a 3 way build though, maybe not a car.
