I use these to clean the threads on screw and removing crud and rust from the slots on the screws. Because they work so well I use them on the compression rings that go into Edison Diamond Disc reproducers and the body threads. The other thicker wheels clump up and lose their ability to clean. I change these often because the get dirty, but for the price and convenience they are well worth it. They are gently. 1. Use the lowest speed. 2. Please use eye protection, the tiny wires would be horrible. I know, before I used eye protection all the time I got a metal splinter in my cornea. I removed it myself which was equally foolish. These days I use eye protection and a respirator with particulate filters.

Bristles come loose but you should be wearing safet gear anyways and the value was a good deal.

I purchases these brushes because I wanted the grout on my kitchen floor to look pristine.
I made the mistake of not having the floor sealed. Anyway, the bit worked great. Got right between the tiles. I only used
water with the tool--not an abrasive. Did the job perfectly. I highly recommend. It was also a great value for the price.

These wire wheels are cheap, that is the end of the good news. The shaft is 0.090" dia while normal Dremmel tools are 0.125" dia. I know Dremmel made a collet for smaller shafts but I don't have one so I made an adapter. Even with that the shaft started to bend in use and became wildly out of balance. So if you have some sort of adapter and will never use it at higher speeds, it "might" be usable.

Good and reliable for the job I used them for. Other people have other options about this product but really is all up to the buyer what they going to use them for.

Best part about this wheel is you get many wheels for the price. I have used them lately and they do the same as other wheels by losing the wires. Be sure to wear eye protection. My Dremel has two speeds- low and high-even the low is still to much speed for these wheels. I have another that is vari speed. It works a lot better on lower speed and I don't loose the wires. Otherwise they do their job quite well.
