I initially had major issues pulling it apart to get the battery in, and to replace it when it runs out. You REALLY have to pull, like to the point I thought I would break it, but after a few minutes it just pops right out. Also, mine did not come with the little cleaning brush, so removing the hair is tricky (I use a tweezer or just blow it out, the hairs are super tiny so honestly I don’t mind just wiping them off my vanity), and has to be done at least for me around 2-3 times each time I use it, as it will stop working when it gets too full. There is a reservoir to hold hair under the blade (which comes off and on just as it should very easy) but mostly the hair builds up right under the blade so you have to empty it out a lot.
Despite all that, it’s so worth it. A few little circles over any area gets all the hair down to the skin. I’ve used this all over my face, including along my hairline because I get crazy sideburns, and it will remove ANY hair there no matter how long. I even used it under my belly button. This thing is such a lifesaver for anyone who hates painful hair removal or shaving. No, the hair does not grow back thicker, and it cannot hurt at all in my experience. It’s especially great bc I can use it for maybe 2 minutes every few days during my normal makeup routine and I’m good to go. My review is not paid so take my word for it, it’s worth the cheap price!! Buy it!!

I received my replacement and it works just fine. It works to shave fine and coarse hairs down. Best used in a circular motion. It does not fully remove any hair, so there is no pain involved like when you wax or pluck. The motor is not strong like a larger typically would have. Very quiet. Pics include a pen to show size comparison. Will fit nicely in a bag, purse, or pocket. Light works decent. I'd say overall it's a good little option for on the go to grab those pesky hairs, or in-between waxes to save on some cash. Handy choice for those of use with PCOS where hair can be a daily or twice daily ordeal to keep plucked. Note: As description says in the instructions, a little warmth on the device head is normal. My experience was it's perfectly fine.

I received the device. Package was relatively easy to open. Sized a little larger than a classic lipstick case. Feels a bit on the cheaper side, especially the on off button. Comes with a generic AA battery, a micro brush for cleaning, paper instructions that are easy to understand.

I placed the factory provided AA battery in and followed the steps to reassemble and turn on. It wouldn't turn on. I got two more working AA batteries from my home. Same thing, it didn't turn on.

I contacted customer service and they are replacing the item with a new one. Once the new one arrives, I'll update my review and give feedback on use.

I've tried all the various things for facial hair and nothing is as good as this. It's small, easy to use and does not hurt a bit. I've had it for a year, using it more or less weekly just on my 'stache, and the battery still runs. You are supposed to empty the shavings, but I haven't done that yet and it still works fine. I don't really use the built-in light but some might find it helpful.

All the video reviews I saw showed a little white brush came with this. I received mine today. No little brush anywhere inside. Overall, this product looks great & is worth using for peach fuzz. If one has coarse hair (from PCOS or other medical conditions) I would recommend using something else. This will not be pain free, quick, or sharp enough for that. Another point of note the removed hairs collect in the same area as the light so eventually one will have to stop take blade cap off & clean it more frequently if reliant on the light part as well. Both the hair in light area of product & the no brush to clean with are enough to make this a three stars review. Everything else is fine & good quality in how made.
