    Purchased this case in January 2018 and it has been a solid performing case for my Pixel 2 for the last 4 months. I purchased the liquid nano glass screen protector for my phone so I removed the plastic screen protector that came with the case. Not that anything was wrong with it to begin with and it was manufactured in the case quite well, I used my Benchmade knife to cut and trim all of it out.The case is not very difficult to install a little more work then some but once it is on, it is there to stay and has a nice snug fit. It does not interfere with the squeeze action on the phone to bring up the Google assistant if you use that feature. I have had no issues with accessing the fingerprint reader with the case installed as well either. I cannot comment on the kickstand because I have a thin magnet mounted to the back of my phone for my mount in the car as I drive and use Android auto. The power and volume buttons on the side of the phone all respond normally without any hard pressure need being applied. So far I am very happy with the case and it was not because of the price. I have tried the other big name brands of cases for my phones and usually I would have a problem with having to apply to much pressure on the buttons on the side of the phone to get them to work or the case it self would just become lose over time. I can't say how it performs on a drop test because I have not dropped my phone on any hard surface to give any opinion on that.

    When I saw this product I thought what a great product, a phone protector with a built in stand, screen protector and belt clip all in one. I received it and put my home in it and tried everything out. Alas it's a typical chinese piece of junk, the phone stand device will not stay closed, it falls open and gets in the way, it's only a matter of time before it breaks off.
    Okay, I've had this Armorbox for a while now. I taped the stand shut to alleviate that problem. The other day I left my phone on the back of my vehicle and then went for a ride. The phone fell off into the road and got run over once. The phone does not have a scratch and works fine. The Armorbox has a bit of road rash but is still functional and saved my phone.

    This case is amazing. It protects so well, keeps the phone like brand new. Screen protector is bullet proof and the touch screen works perfectly. Kick stand is amazing, it doubles as a handle. I can put my finger through it. Although, if you get it wet water will get under the screen protector. Which is annoying because the screen will not respond in those areas until you pull it apart and dry out. Which affects your clean surfaces. But this does not detract from the rating because any case that offers water proofing will eventually leak due to degradation and ultimately be more annoying to deal with. So for the purposeful functionality this as far as I'm concerned "Official Pixel 2 Case" gets all 5 stars. Awesome product.

    Not a bad case for the price. However, I did downgrade from an Otterbox case so I did notice a few shortcomings. The case is very solid and sturdy, fit is very good... but there is no texture to the case. If you lay it on a flat surface in a car or a moving cart, it will slide off with annoying ease. The little tripod stand is a nice feature but doesn't want to stay in the closed position when not in use. The holes in the screen cover for the speakers and camera don't have seals, so dust and contaminants tend to get behind the screen sometimes. For most people this would probably be a pretty solid case, but if you use your phone in tough or demanding environments, you will want something better.

    So, I very rarely leave reviews and it shows since I purchased this item a bit over a year ago. I needed something to keep dirt out of all of the phone ports and something that was rugged enough for work. I work in construction and did not want to have to replace my phone quarterly. To get to the point I have dropped my phone from heights of about 3 ft to over 12 feet and never once has this case failed to protect my phone. I've never had any dirt get into the phone with this case on. I've also been in some pretty intense rainstorms and dropped it into water on multiple occasions and my phone is still in perfect condition. It is not water proof however it will keep water out as long as you do not drop it into a body of water. Needless to say this is by far one of the best phone cases I've ever owned. It is still holding up well with very little wear and tear. Only thing that needs improvement is the built in screen protector. It's fine the way it is but next time they could probably add a better quality one into the design.

    This case can directly compete with OtterBox in terms of durability. I have dropped this phone many times without causing it virtually any damage. If your looking for a full body case with a built in screen protector that gives you high dollar protection in a low-cost package, you have found your case.

    Now for my one gripe: the rear stand. Now don't get me wrong, I actually LIKE the stand, I never expected to use it as much as I have. My problem is that the stand on the back of the case slides on a rail via two very small plastic nubs. One of these broke, and now the stand won't actually stand. So now I'm left with not using an unexpectedly useful feature or buying a new one.

    I purcheds this to replace my OtterBox. The design is slightly different, but they are similar. I really like the screen protector in this unit, I find it to be more responsive than the one on the name brand OtterBox. I had doubts about the durability because it is only a 2piece case, unlike the OtterBox, which is 3 piece. But so far it seems extremely durable. The built-in kickstand is a nice feature, and doesn't add any unnecessary thickness to the case. For the price, I'd gladly buy 4 of these for the price of one name brand case.

    I bought a similar case for my Pixel 1 last year; the Supcase Unicorn Beetle with holster. The packaging, materials and design of this i-Blason are similar to Supcase so I believe they are from the same company. I will therefore compare this case to last years Supcase as there doesn't seem to be a Supcase for the Pixel 2 this year. This case definitely feels like an upgrade over last years Supcase. The fit is better, espeically between the phone screen and protective layer. There is also a little notch in the bottom right corner between the two parts of the case to assist when taking the phone out. It seems as though the company hasn't rested on its laurels and decided to improve the design wherever they can, which is great to see. The rubber bumper running around the entire edge of the case has a textured design which gives plenty of grip. The holes cut into the screen protector for the front camera lens, notification light and speakers grilles are also much better aligned than last years model. The back is made from smooth plastic which unfortunately is quite slippery when in hand. However, there are five small rubber nodules which prevent the phone from sliding around when placed on its back. I didn't think I would need the kickstand but it allows me to easily position the phone on the centre dash of my van when using google maps. The width of the case is perfect for the space available and doesn't move around at all. In case you're wondering its a Peugeot Partner 2003. The usb port rubber plug inserts also seem to fit more snugly than last years Supcase. The holster is also made of a semi-transparent plastic which again feels lighter than last years. Honestly when I have the phone clipped into the holster on my belt I hardly notice its there. As a painter and decorator this is really important as I don't like to feel weighed down by anything! On the negative side I have noticed that the protective screen got a few scratches already from being in my pocket with a scrunched up metallic metal wrapper! I suppose thats what its there for. All in all a really great case and worth every penny.
