There Are Better Options. This Trimmer Only Lasted About 4 Months.
I could write a long review describing the issues but a earlier review titled “Major issues with charger stand and battery” has already hit the nail on the head.I purchased the trimmer in February of 2021. It’s now June and it refuses to charge. I only used it for Mustache and Beard trims. 5 to 10 minutes of use every 2 to 3 days.Now the green charging light just flashes on and off again. I really feel it was a total waste of money. However, it does work wonderful when operational.Sadly, durability has become a major issue for Andis. I have had this problem with other products from the company. A trimmer should last at least a year.In truth, I was never happy with this particular trimmer. Other trimmers have more attachment options. I usually do not like to post a negative review about a product without suggesting some alternative.If the sleek design of the trimmer and the Andis brand are the lure. There are better options for about the same cost.The Andis SlimLine 2 Trimmer has 8 attachment combs attachment including 3 day, 5 day and 7 day blade guards. It’s a nice perk for those of us who use the trimmer for shaping up.This trimmer failing left me in a crunch. The slimline 2 was what I found at the closest brick and mortar store. I had to finish shaving with something.I guess in 4 four months I will be writing a review about the slimline 2. Hopefully a good one if it lasts. In any case I would’ve never purchased this trimmer had I known about the slimline 2. I guess I am just putting information out there so the others know their options.

A must have for every barber. These are top notch and feel amazing

I originally zero gapped it and had to push the blade back, my client's were not happy with how sharp they were. But they are one of the best on the market. I use this with a white hairline pencil and of course a black widow straight razor touch up. But honestly the slim line clipper did 96 percent of the line up. They fit in your hand nicely and give you unbelievable control over your lineups. Especially breads and mustaches. I would probably reframe from zero gapping too close to top blade. They cut really harsh and hurt.
