Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This product did solve my issues with filament slipping, it bites down very hard. However loading the filament is a nightmare. It is so difficult to get to line up in feed through. I tried printing some fittings that would make it easier but they can only do so much. overall I would not recommend purchasing this, it came with so much more headache than it was worth for me. I ended up buying a ezstruder from seemecnc and it is so much better/easier. Just save up a little extra money and buy a better product.
The unit's design seems solid and like it'll work well- but I cannot install it on my ender 3 with the bolts that come with it-they're about 5mm too short.
I'm confused because the other review mentions an ender 3. Guess I need to order a bolt set.
I tried this as an upgrade for my ender 3 but found it almost impossible to load as the button spring tension was very high and not apparently adjustable. Same problem caused the extruder to chew up my filament as it passed through and caused miss feeds and stoppages. This is worse than the stock plastic extruder that came on the Ender 3.
