It works great and has a clear image on screen. My husband tested it out in our pond and we seen the goldfish plainly. It has great night vision and images aren't at all distorted. The camera is on a 98 feet long cable that is encased in waterproof tubing. It's very easy to use and can be attached to your arm or fishing pole. The display is color and displays camera depth, water temperature and where the fish are. It has an amazing battery life and recharges very fast. It's a great way to see underwater and is really fun to use. Great value

Ok I’ve used this camera a handful of times now while I’ve fishing and feel i can give it an honest review. Pros:the price point for the price his thing is awesome! It comes with a nice case that makes storage easy. Battery life seems good especially in cold weather. Picture quality is pretty clear although the deeper the water the less you’ll see. I was able to see bass and walleye several feet from the camera and find structure with ease it’s nice to know what’s down there and saves time ice fishing. The cord is plenty long...i was in 40-50ft of water, but you loose range the deep you go the less you can see. I’d say 60-70 ft in clear water is about all you’ll get out of this. The biggest con to this camera is the fin and weight. It weights next to nothing making it move too much to see or control. It comes with a fin to mount the lens in which helps but it still needs more weight. The fin has 2 holes attach weights which made all the difference!

I had low expectations for the money paid. Was I surprised :) The image is excellent, and the sensor is quite capable in low light. The IR night illumination is also very good, but expect reflections from particles in the water to play heck with the image, so your nighttine mileage will vary, depending on the clarity of the water. Any unit will have this limitation. The fin allows for a horizontal view. You'll need to add weight to the fin to get a positive feel, and a taut wire. Holes are provided in the fin for that purpose. I use the unit only for scouting out structure and fish concentrations during ice fishing season. The unit is tiny, fits in a typical ice fishing bib or jacket pocket. The 50' of cable wraps onto a built- in spool on the unit's back. The unit turns itself ON when the screen lid is raised. There is a brightness, contrast, saturation, and 1x to 3x zoom.m, and image inversion control. The image is NOT going to compare to a GO PRO, but for scouting purposes, you can't beat this little guy. I find that the somewhat small screen size is perfectly adequate for this purpose. The unit is rechargeable, and comes with a USB charger with AC adapter (similar to a cell phone.) There are several accessories for creatively mounting the unit.... AND...a nice wrist safety lanyard. I can't comment on the duration of the charge time, but I CAN say that the unit functioned well at 10 degrees above zero. Nice unit.

Out of the box, something seemed fishy...it appeared that I was receiving a unit someone had already returned. The directions say to fully charge the unit. LED would be red until fully charged and then turn green. As soon as I plugged in the USB cable the LED was green, so it appeared to be fully charged already. Also the directions said to make sure the camera cable was fully plugged into the unit before turning on...the cable came plugged in already.

Regardless, the unit would not power on. I left it on the charger overnight...still nothing. Just finished the return. Now I'm shopping for an Aqua Vu or Marcum. Should've stuck with a reputable product to begin with.

This camera is just exactly what I was looking for. It’s very easy to navigate from screen to screen. It only requires to press one of the button to start do video recording or make a photo shot. The camera housing made from solid metal and not from plastic as many other cameras. The white lights are very useful as well in addition to 4 IR lights. Today I used camera in a muddy River and could able clear see every objects. Unfortunately haven’t seen any fish. I used big plastic bubbler to keep camera out of stones and dirts. A 30M of cable gives plenty freedom of distance for traveling downstream. Next time I’m planning to take this camera to catch crabs. It will be fun to see if any crabs around and see their interactions. I’m even thinking to use this camera with my RC boat to find fish locations around the lake.
The temperature and depth are very useful information to this camera as well. So far I’m very satisfied with the camera.
By the way, great customer support. Any issues would be solved.

Of all the cameras I considered, this one combines all the best features. Record and store still pictures and video. Adjustable LED lighting and IR lighting. A good length of sturdy cord, and compact. Very good resolution from the camera to the screen. It even indicates water temperature, depth and camera direction. When I compare it to other items on the market, it does so much more than them so great value for the price.

The first unit I received was DOA, I put a full charge on it out of the box and it would not power up even though the charge indicator showed green. I sent a note to the seller and they replied immediately, when I described the problem they shipped a new one that arrived two days later. I'm very impressed with the customer service and that's worth five stars alone. I'm happy to report that the second unit seems to be in excellent working condition.

Quite an impressive little unit overall, I highly recommend this if you're looking for the best remote underwater video camera.

It does work best when light is able to get under the ice, but with all the other cameras out there that’s no different.
