I purchased the Medium (20") red bag, and overall I'm very happy with it. For those who commented about durability issues with either the straps, seams, or zippers: you get what you pay for, and I'd say you get quite a bit with this bag and for the money it's very durable; that said, it's a $29 bag (you could pay a whole lot more)… be good to it, don't over-fill it and stress the seems/zippers and I think it will last you a good long time.

Pros:
* Looks stylish
* Durable, solid zippers and seams
* Wet compartment is really nice for your wet towel and clothes
* Plenty of compartments and room for two water bottles is nice
* BIG opening is nice for getting all your stuff in and out

Cons:
* On the bigger side; need to scrunch it in my locker (I'm OK with that, but you might want the 15" version if you're dealing with a small locker)
* I use the shoulder strap for carrying and there doesn't seem to be a great way to manage the other (2) straps for carrying by hand. One tucks away nicely, but the other one is kind of a nuisance if you don't use it (minor gripe). Tempted to just cut them off.

This is the perfect size for me. Great functional design and nicely made. Zippers zip easily and clasps, although mostly plastic, seem sturdy. I use it for water aerobics and lap swimming. It has a large plastic section for wet items and many nice-sized pockets to store a variety of items, including flipflops/water-shoes on the outside of the bag. Best of all my aqua belt fits in the main section and the great large opening lid design makes it easy to get in an out of the bag. It holds 2 large beach towels, a large cosmetic/toiletry bag, some dry changes of clothes PLUS the aquabelt and still could stash more if I needed. There are 2 zippered pockets on the front, and one on the inside of the bag, plus a large unzipped pocket in the back that has a velcro closure in the center. Each end of the bag has divided mesh pockets. It also has a keyfob type of clasp on the front inside of the bag that I use for a small lock. I used to lug around a bag much bigger to fit the aquajogger belt, but the extra large lid allows be to have everything I need in a much smaller and manageable gym bag. I love it and highly recommend it.

All right, I’m going to do an honest review for this gym bag. I am an active weightlifter and I lift at least six times a week. This gym bag is a quality bag for what you pay and will provide you with enough space to hold two pairs of shoes, a pair of slides, your clothes, a towel, and a small bag for your toiletries. This bag is a quality bag and I would recommend it 100% over and over again. If you are worried about buying the bag because of space, don’t worry there’s enough space in the bag to get you through your day or your gym session. I had the green bag for half a year and ended up buying my wife one because of how much she liked the bag and because she was jealous of mine….. Buy your wife one as well as yourself. Fantastic product!

I looked at four different gym bags to replace my old worn out bag, ranging in price from $23 to $60. In the end, the Focus Group's Ultimate Gym Bag 2.0 was the one I chose. The overall design is somewhat unique and well thought out, with pockets and places to put all of you gym gear. In addition to the usual gym clothes and athletic shoes, I take advanced cycle training spin classes that require cycling cleats. Even with both pairs of shoes, flip flops for the shower, and all the clothes, this bag just swallows everything neatly and well organized, including a waterproof pocket for wet clothes like swim trunks.

Rather than the usual cheap feeling single layer of material that most common gym bags are made of, this bag is lined and has padding is several places. I ordered the bag in black, and I really appreciate that the interior lining is a contrasting light grey, which makes seeing what's inside much easier.

It's the best of the bunch so far, being able to hold all my gear, in a quality bag, at a reasonable size and price, but it's not perfect. What I would like to see for the "Ultimate Gym Bag 3.0" is higher quality zippers. Larger, beefier zippers, with finger pulls would be a great upgrade. In fact, I have added finger pulls to the small zipper pulls on my bag, as well as a beefier shoulder pad.

The 20" bag is an excellent bag for the money. As others have noted, the zippers are slightly janky at times--meaning that you have to work a bit to get them around corners. Also, the shoulder strap tends to twist under the pad. However, the bag is extremely well-designed and functional for my needs. I like the compactness and it fits easily in a standard locker. The separate shoe and wet pockets are great and there is still plenty of room in the main pocket for gym clothes. Those who need lots of space for equipment might need a bigger bag, but for carrying around gym and swim clothes, it is perfect. I also like the two outside pockets for small storage (like goggles) and the inner hanging zip pocket for storing phones, watches, etc. there is also a clip for keys. Feature-wise, it is hard to think of anything else I might want in a gym bag. At under $30, it is well worth the money.

I use this for my weekday morning workouts and it's great! I have no problem at all carrying a water bottle and another containing my protein shake for afterwards. I have seen several comments saying people found their bottles didn't stay securely in place, but suspect it is all to do with the size and weight of the containers you are using. It would be impossible to cater for every drinks bottle on the market. I especially love the waterproof plastic pouch in the bottom. I'm not a swimmer, so don't need to carry wet swimwear, but I do use a face flannel and shower cap, both of which would make the contents of my sponge bag wet; so I put them in the pouch until I get home and can take them out. I'm pleased I bought this bag.

I bought this as it was advertised as durable and had some great reviews. Despite only using it for the gym with light stuff the seams have come apart on the bag in two different places. Very disappointed with this purchase. Not good quality.
