Instructions
- Make sure your dog is watching you spray the area you want to protect
- Shake the bottle
- Apply 3-4 pumps minimum each application
- Apply 3 times per day for the first week and then apply as needed
Harbor's works best on porous surfaces. Check the surface to be treated for colorfastness and staining before applying by testing in a hidden area.
For best results, you need to apply 3 times per day for 7 days and then apply as needed. If you apply the repellent/trainer only once or twice and expect immediate and conclusive results, you may be disappointed. Also, some materials take several applications to build up enough scent to deter dogs (non-porous surfaces can take longer).
How it Works
Harbor’s Dog Repellent Spray trains your dog to stay away from the object or area sprayed. There is a learning process. Your dog will visit the spot where the repellent was applied, discover that the area is unpleasant, and leave. It may take several visits for your dog to learn it does not like the area.

Does not work at all! Waste of money!
First it arrived with some spilled out. This spray smells nice enough but it doesn’t work AT ALL! On the first time using it my dog liked the smell and didn’t even move from the areas it was used on. Also it says use it 3 times per day for the first week... with such a small bottle this would be really hard unless you had only one very small area to use it on. Again this did not detour my puppy at all.Update... I have used the entire bottle of this and it seems to make my dog go to the areas versus avoid them. I really wish I could get my money back.
