This router is great! And best of all, although skeptical of ordering amazon renewed, I paid less than today's market price and now I am down to only 98 problems.
I have been in the market for a router after world war 3 with my internet provider. They simply were not able remedy my situation and I came to the conclusion it was the thing that splits the internet and puts it into my home's atmosphere.
Not only does this model look bada$$ behind my tv next to the forbidden baby toys, it is pleasantly married with DumoOS which now paints a picture as to who is sniping my internet and using a nuke ton of my bandwidth! With a click of the button I shoot them down and now I am a happy father with the 2 hours of midnight gaming to escape into the bloodbath of destiny 2 pvp. I was pleasantly surprised when I was actually good because the players I was shooting actually died. Prior to this router, my hits not only did not register, but also gave me minor frustration to constipation. The XR500 was a very easy set up. The renewed box as plain as it can be made a nice shipping box for my old router to be shipped back out to my internet provider. The DumoOS application is detailed and helps me set up which device can take up most of it's bandwidth with a thresh hold so it doesn't overload causing my misery again!
All in all this product was a breath of fresh air as last night I destroyed a whole team without a hint of slow down and ranked me at the very top of my crucible control. I now have the issue of sleep as I am writing this review with 2 hours as my gaming has never been so good and well.... connected.
Overall, great amazon renew experience. Although somewhat early to tell how long this will last, it's still promising as I was very skeptical of renewed products in general. Great router, gets the job done and more or less future proofs for my needs.
