I bought this product and exactly 13 days later while riding my motorcycle, I ran over something that flattened my tire. Luckily for me, I was right in front of a gas station that had air. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. I wasn’t sure it was going to work, because whatever stab my tire seemed like it was a line rather than a circle from a nail or something. More like a shard of something went in and got knocked out. Well anyways, it took me about a minute and a half to two minutes to plug the hole once I filled it up I drove around on it just a little bit to test it out and no issues no problems. I’m still gonna check it again in the morning, but this thing was a lifesaver. Definitely worth it. I planned to buy two more to keep in each car as well just in case. Just make sure you have scissors or a blade to cut the excess. And I would recommend pliers, but you can still pull the pieces through the hole

Bought to repair nail hole in 270/60/20 inch tire. I found another nail hole on same tire when fixing first one. Used to fix both and they sealed and are holding air after a couple days no pressure loss.The kit is equipped with all that’s needed to get the job done. In my case it was harder to remove the nails than plug the tire but I was able to do so without having to remove tire from truck.

I will add that the tools are built well and kit includes a small wrench to tighten tools if ever needed and spare valves just in case but honestly in all my years of driving I never had to replace an inner valve core on a vehicle but they are there lol.

The reamer to prep the hole is on the large size and I had to use a smaller one from an old kit I have to get it started and then the kit one to finish. The strips are very tacky and went in hole tightly for a good seal. Probably saved about 30/40 bucks so it paid for itself already.
Comes in a nice zipper pouch you can keep in vehicle for emergency repairs. A good set of pliers and a knife or razor is good to have as well to help pull repair stick thru tool and or pull nail from tire. In my case I always have them available. I highly recommend this kit because it has everything you need and it’s a good buy at the price.

Last night I got in my truck and noticed low tire pressure, sure enough there was a 2.5” hex bolt stuck and letting air out. Pulled it out and was able to plug with the kit then drive home 30 minutes going 65mph, inflated the tire to 39 and by the time I got home it was at 42. As of today it is not leaking any air. I did have to use a different scraper tool that I had handy as this one is very thick and hard to actually put in, once I cleaned out with the smaller tool I used this one to enlarge the hole and then seal. None of the tools feel cheap, the case is a little big but nice since nothing is lose, and saved me from having to put the donut on. Would buy again if I am out of strips or maybe to put in my wives car.

Set was quick to arrive and seems very well made.
I had the misfortune of using the kit a week after I received mine by picking up a screw in the rear tire.
I had patched and used the old plug gun method of repairing objects in tires but this was a first for me using this type repair.
First off I tried to repair the tire while still mounted on the car. I saw this done at other places but being on the shoulder of the road it was just to difficult to get the file into the tire to prep the tire for the new plug.
I took the tire off the car and had a much better angle to push into the tire and clean up the rubber and file down the steel belt around the hole. The strip plug then went in and released easily from the tool.
Trimmed the plug down just above the tire tread and put air into the tire with a portable 12 volt compressor. Tire did not leak and put it back onto the car.
All toll from the time I decided taking the tire off the car was the best option until I was putting it back onto the car again was no more than 10 minutes.
For less than the cost of one tire repair I now know how to do this in the future myself and have the tools and material to make 12 more repairs should I ever need to.

The tools in this kit were metal and look like they were professional quality, not like the plastic versions you see costing almost as much as this one in the big box stores.
If I should misplace this or lend it out to one of my kids who will surely lose it, I would definitely purchase another one off Amazon.
Well worth the investment.👍👍👍

More compact than some other kits that use blow molded cases.

This particular kit does not include pliers to remove the nail from the tire, but I already had plenty of pliers.

well first off you have to have your own pliers to pull the object from tire and there was no lubricant in the plastic container but other than that worked fine for me. where I live there is no shop in town which will plug a tire for you, they want to sell you a brand new tire. So if you have a 3 or4 hundred dollar brand new tire with a screw or something in it they want to sell you another tire. So this is a great bargain.
