You Might Need To Know

FIts in the palm of an adult hand, recommend using it with a switch wallplug
This product is great for if you need to charge or dock your switch while traveling. It also is great for if you want to replace your switch dock for something for the desk. I actually just use this for downstairs dock. It is about the size for my palm. It is pretty light and comes with one usb port, the type c port for charging, and one HDMI port. This one of the better dock you can have if you want to play on another television say at a hotel and not have to carry around your giant dock. This switch dock works pretty well and will ONLY work for the Nintendo switch and not the switch light. The two prongs at the bottom of this dock only fit a switch and not a lite. It is pretty much a simple push and plug. This does not work with cases on however so be aware of that. It is fitted to just a switch alone. It utilize the same type c plug as the switch and I would recommend using the Nintendo power brick if possible for best possible charging and playing. I mean I have had some success with other chargers but the best results I have seen is the charger that is provided with the switch. The stand is not adjustable unfortunately but does have grip on the bottom and can actually support the switch's weight pretty well. There is actually a button on the front that allows you to turn it into a normal charging dock or a dock to out put to the television. If it is green than it will be working with your TV and if it is off it will just work as a normal dock. This is great because you are able to use the onboard speakers and screen without having to disconnect the HDMI cable depending on how you are playing. It will charge while you are playing too (I made a mistake of thinking it didn't). The charge time varies based on if you are using a battery pack or the wall plug again use the Nintendo oem one if possible. It does not come with any cables or power bricks but it uses the standard type c plug. Overall this stand is great. It can give you the ability to charge while continuing to play games especially during traveling like airplane or bus. It also allows you to plug one of your USB devices into it and essentially use it as a mini dock for the television. It had great grip so your console will not slide off of the table. I would say it vents out pretty well to keep the device from overheating and note it will get warm during usage.

It's hard to believe how small it is! It has all the same features of the original dock in about a fifth of the size. I mean, it docks and charges the Switch, it has the HDMI-out port, it uses the same USB type-c charging port (@15 volts), and it includes one USB 3.0 data/charging port for additional accessories.
I actually like this design a little better than the original dock. If you've ever placed your hand over the Switch when it's being used, you've probably felt how hot it gets. The fact that this one is open, lets the Switch dissipate any heat build-up much better. The only drawback I can find so far is that the Switch is definitely not as secure. It can wobble a little but when you press the power-button, so you need to be careful to not dislodge it or put too much stress on the charging port.
The dock also has a little switch on the very front that turns the video-converter on and off. When on, the signal gets sent to the TV screen, when off it functions just as a charger.
This seems like a perfect replacement or spare dock for the Switch. I can’t find any fault with it, and I still don’t understand how they were able to make it so much smaller than the one that comes with the console. It’s a good choice all the way around.
Perfect & Compact Replacement Dock

My kids' Nintendo Switch was having problems. The screen would blink on and off and it seemed to be resizing itself time and time again. Of course we tried every setting we could find to fix it but nothing made a difference. Finally, we figured out that the dock and ultimately the video-converter within the dock itself had gone bad. We are getting it replaced but the process will take 10-14 days. So we got this dock as a temporary replacement and later on as a travel charger.Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2019
