Kenwood KFC-C6896PS - 6x8" Oval Custom Fit 2-way 2 Speaker

KFC-6896PS 6"x8" speakers rock a polypropylene cone with a diamond array pattern, which minimizes distortion, while a rubber surround ensures overall durability. All the musical details are handled by the balanced dome tweeter, and dispersion is improved by Kenwood's proprietary Sound Field Enhancer.

Kenwood's Acoustic Sound Harmonizer uses slots on the mount housing the tweeters to improve the transition to the higher frequencies, so you'll experience a smoother sound overall. Grilles are not included — factory grilles are suitable for most installations.

Produces a smooth and natural sound by controlling woofer sound waves and allowing only certain frequencies to pass through the holes of the tweeter panel.

The packaging for this product was impressive. I installed speakers in a 2012, Ford F150 XLT. If you have the right tools, you can do the install in 20 minutes. I only replaced the stock speaks in the front doors. The stock radio/CD player drives plenty of bass. It won't shatter windows, but is very good. Recommend for those who want good ROI.

The metal is somewhat tough, and I end up having to use some heavy duty wire cutters, however, for the price and the quality, I would have no problem buying another pair.
