This game is super cute and crazy fun! My fiancé and I spent hours in our hotel room on vacation playing this. We stayed up way too late because we got completely sucked into the gameplay.

There is this beautiful story that goes on behind the scenes as you move through different levels, and the characters are so adorable!

I love the puzzles as well as the strategy parts of this game. I also really like how you have to depend on the other player for many parts of the game.

My ONLY wish is that there was the ability to play this multiplayer online, because my fiancé and I live in different places, and we wanted to continue playing after our vacation.

If you are on the fence and still not sure about getting this game for couch co-op, just do it! I promise you will not regret it if you enjoy puzzle/strategy/adventure games with a cute twist.

Wow... I bought this game when I was looking for ideas for my new Switch, and this one caught my eye. The animation is incredibly beautiful, the music haunting, and I love the adorable and occasionally sad little yarn characters. The ghost story in the background adds interest even though it doesn't particularly seem to tie into the puzzle play. There is one really frustrating action where I struggle often getting the blue and red to combine--that's definitely my biggest complaint--but it's still overall very nice to play. My roommate was mesmerized watching me play solo for hours. We haven't tried the two player mode yet, but I imagine how well you work together will decide whether it makes things easier or harder. After we finish this one I'll have to look back to the original.

I got this game for my kids to have something two player. It was nice at first, but just like most games it had to turn dark. Starts with you just having to use your mind to coordinate your efforts to go forward. That part is really fun and becomes increasingly challenging. But then they add these dark creatures and make the puzzles so hard my kids are stuck. They've reached a point where its so difficult they just can't do it. I also tried and could not help. We might eventually get it, but it has taken the fun out of it for us. I thought it was great before they added the darkness. I'm sure that's fun for many, but I kind of just prefer the puzzle parts before the dark elements. When they touch you, you have to start over, and that can really be more than a kid can take after a while. The graphics are well done though, and the game looks rather nice. I do wish there was a way to change difficulty, maybe play a version without the dark creatures.

I wish there were more of these type games. My daughter and son worked together to play this game. When they finished, they excitedly gave it to their aunt and uncle to play who also loved it. So many of the Switch games are single player, or not equal two player - getting dragged along as second player in Pokemon and such, or battling each other and becoming amped up in real life. This one I was happy to have them play as they solved puzzles together and worked together as a team, each character equally capable! It was great to hear them chat about it and work together to navigate the land with their string people. The background story of being connected as family isn't a bad one either. The graphics are lovely and the little string "people" are wonderful characters that can represent anyone. It can also be played alone, but the magic for me was in the parent-child or sibling play. If you love Peaceable Kingdoms, or other cooperative games, you'll love this too. I continue the search for others like this!
