Caramel acoustic only, solid mahogany tenor. Great value, if you want a very good sounding solid wood tenor uke for an amazing price. Simple basic lightweight design, with a nice enough abalone rosette to look out of place on such a barely varnished and barely stained uke. Mine is different from pic and description in several ways. Tied bridge, no bridge pins, out of place here anyway, and since no pins, no tool for them. No truss rod so no wrench for it either, though there is a notch inside where rod would be. Light strings like Enya fluoros, but sound okay. NO HANGER, unlike pics. Most of these things I don't care about, but leaving them out is a lesser value and it should lose a star for that. But the basic quality and especially the sound are good enough that I have to restore it to 5 stars. I suspect this is a slightly stripped down Amazon version of their standard model, which is fine by me. Does have installed strap buttons and side markers. You may not notice how nice it sounds unless you have some laminates to compare it to. If you instead want a beautifully finished, heavier instrument, get their solid acacia [not the acacia laminate] acacia acoustic electric, more expensive [119] but for a solid acacia that does have all the mahogany's missing features, a great value still. But oddly enough the acacia doesn't sound to my ears as good as this mahogany - so I much prefer the mahogany.

This is a nice instrument at any price, and for what it's selling for, it's amazing. It sounds great, nice and warm as you would expect from a solid mahogany instrument. Plus it comes with everything you need to get started if you're a beginner. The tuner isn't terrible either which is common with these packages. It works fine, just be sure to set it to "ukulele", because it has settings for guitar, bass, and violin too I think. The craftsmanship is very nice. It's amazing they're able to sell it at such a low price. My only minor complaint is they put chrome strap buttons on it and it has black tuning pegs. So, I like it enough to spend another $8 on a pair of black buttons to match the tuning pegs.

I mean you could guess that for its price, but if you do plan on buying this instrument invest in some QUALITY strings. Not only did the original string come pre-snapped out the packaging but the replacement string(s) also broke! It looks nice but it cannot hold its tuning with the given strings, probably the tuning pegs are a bit faulty as well.

Hubby loves it. The kids destroyed his last one by dragging it around for so many years. Which we encouraged and loved their love for the Uke. But it was definitely time for a new one. He made me promise I wouldn’t spend too much, so I was skeptical about the price/quality of the instrument. It has a wonderful tune, is gorgeous, and he loves to play it. Don’t worry; the kids received their own ukulele’s too: so this one will be for his hands only!
