There was some concern about going through batteries on the remote but buying rechargeable batteries for that helped. Great activity for my son and husband to enjoy together.

    Got this for my autistic nephew after reading another review that mentioned giving it to their autistic son. He loves cars/trucks anyway so I figured this would be right up his alley. My sister sent me video of him playing with it and he appeared to be having so much fun, laughing and jumping over the car as it came his way.     I got a different one for myself (yes, a woman in her 40s wanted and purchased a remote control car for herself......what?....I've done worse....I think) and I was totally jealous that his had working headlights which looked so cool in the video she sent me. This car works very well over her deep carpet so I tend to believe the claims that it can survive the other surfaces as well.

    My son LOVES this thing. We took it to the park and my son could not get enough of making it drive over anything and everything. Surprisingly durable and did not fall apart as I expected. We just rinsed it off and it was good as new. The only minor thing I would say is the charging connection is a bit difficult. My 5 year old could never attach/detach the battery to the car and even I have to be careful when doing it. Besides that, I doubt anything better can be found at the price point!
