Fun non the less and maneuvers very well, does all thr trick it says it does and has a proper build. Light, but sturdy enough to be used by my kids.... and my kids break things😅

These are fun toys that are also remarkably resilient. The plastic housing is tough, being slightly flexible and deformible but readily returning to its original shape after light impacts. Some of the control algorithms and automatic trim adjustments this helo makes do seem a bit strange and unnecessary, such as its behavior when it collides with a wall. When that happens the helo will power itself up to 100% and pin itself against the wall rather than gracefully backing away, which would be possible by tweaking the control algos.

But considering the pricing of this and the fact that it is a toy, this thing is amazing. Tons of fun and it doesn't break easily.

A few cautions: the fan blades on these move enough air to blow papers and other light materials around a room. It's a bit noisy, so if anyone is trying to sleep while this is flying around that could be an issue. And the small fan blades can and will get caught in long hair if the helo manages to fly into anyone's hair.

I purchased the drone for our son. Upon opening, the product was packaged nicely and instructions were labeled well. We charged up the until the first time and flew it in the house. The second time my son decided to go outside to familiarize himself further with the controls. Well, I don't know exactly what happened, but I learned that the drone flew off into the woods, which we still can not find. I don't know if it was a mechanical malfunction or human error..?? I e mailed the customer service to learn if there was some sort of tracking or anyway to help me locate it. Shortly after sending the e mail to them (a matter of an hour or so), they informed me they were going to send me another one to replace the one that flew away. I thought that was extremely generous of them for I didn't really know who was at fault. Thank you so much SYMA!! You made a family very happy!! If you have any issues after the purchase, the company will stand by their product and take care of their customers. Oh, and after I received the second drone, the customer service e mailed to make sure I received it and it was working correctly.

Its very easy to fly indoors…take caution when outside even with little to no wind, it got away from him and controls did not respond. He loves practicing landing on the included heli pad. I think this is rated for 8 yr +…but again my 6yr old grandson flies it with ease. I love it also because its teaching him how to handle larger and more expensive drones in the future.

Originally I'd written a 1star review - I had purchased this helicopter and it arrived with one of the small rotors already broken! Clearly not a good experience, and incredibly frustrating for my 9yr old son.
I returned it to Amazon and ordered a 2nd one. This one at least arrived in working order, though I will stay say that the fragile-ness of the small plastic parts makes me worry it will crack and break again, similar to how the first one arrived. We will see how long it actually lasts. It's a neat toy, but you have to be very careful with it to make sure it actually will last more than a few runs.

It’s easy to like this thing. It’s simple. And the more you read on it and learn about what it’s capable of the more thrilling it is to operate.
You can’t keep your hands off of it. Inside or outside it’s pretty
Cool. (For outside I would not attempt to operate it if it’s windy. Still air only will no doubt provide the best performances.

But here’s the best part about this
Flying machine - the customer service and support you get with it.
Phenomenal. You call their number
You’re talking to a real tech. If no answer they call You Back in record time. Wow and then CALL YOU BACK again to check on you, to see if all is well. - I found myself asking “what just happened”? these people (joe) actually care.
-These days this kind of partnership is almost extinct especially regarding an after purchase service is RARE.
I had some questions and concerns - and there was not any hesitation on Syma’s part in supporting me or Quadcopter drone purchase.
From Discussing the drone to just plan Help to an 11 yr. Old whenever needed. (knowing they were supportive if ever needed provided peace of mind).

It seemed to me that If they even sensed I felt a replacement was necessary. and I believe this was the case with our drone. They replaced the unit and I received it another in 2 days. ( keep what you have, I was told) No crazy intimidating - “PROVE it’s” Amazing.
