Came apart while putting it together
Well, I should have gone to Best Buy. I had an Epson artisan that lasted 10 years, finally threw it out; so, I bought the Pixma t something and it’s so flimsy I was afraid to put it together and sure enough the inevitable happened. The lid came right off now I can’t get it back on. And when it prints it shakes like shakira. No kidding I even start dancing with it. But I like working @ night when my kid is sleeping, sometimes I need to print stuff but now I have to wait until morning because the noise that printer makes will wake a hundred year old dead guy. That’s what I get for paying 100 bucks . I should’ve spent a little extra and bought another Epson. That’s what I get for being a miser 🤑

First off I count myself an expert in these matters being a seasoned IT consultant for home users and small business for over 23 years.
I don't get the negative reviews.
First off it's not flimsy. The scan cover is loose to give you room for books and larger items.
Very impressed with the photo quality, and it prints CD's too.( maybe I'll use that once)
But it's compact and has individual ink tanks which is nice if you are printing a lot of sky and are running low on blue, (cian) just pop in a new one.
    It's pretty compact.
Also people ar complaining about the setup.
I just ran the software and it set up just fine, so maybe they updated it.
I then added it through the touchscreen to my wifi network and it was set up.
One of the easier printers if you ask me.
I've read some that have said that the ink is kind of expensive, But if you are like me and don't do a whole lot of printing, then I think this printer is really good quality.
PC Magazine rated this as one of the best home printers. I'm glad I didn't listen to the the negative stuff on here.

    Super fast startup
    Fast print speeds
    Features
    Print quality
    Touchscreen is bright and responsive
    Double-sided prints
    Accurate paper detection

    Cons:
Build quality isn't that great, things sound and feel flimsy. It makes some very unpleasant sounds
Paper tray is a little small
Canon Pixma App is limited in feature and functionality
Included inks are a little low on capacity

    Overall:
While it's not the most solid in terms of build quality, for the price, this does a great job for everyday prints as well as photo prints. It doesn't leave many features out and should make the average home user very happy!

Easy to setup using wifi for computer and iPhones and iPads. Did not even use the CD that came with it as everything can be done with the web link to obtain latest software. Regarding apps for iPhone, I had to delete app with old printer on it and download the app again and set up with the new printer. A little bit of a pain, but worked. This was a replacement Canon printer for my old PIXMA MG-7720 that finally quit after 5 years. It prints and scans great. However, it took me awhile to find the Scan Utility where I could edit and combine scanned pages. This was a little different, but OK after I found the Scan Utility app on computer. I had 2 trays with old printer. The new one has 1 tray and ability to feed from the back of the printer for photos. When everything is closed up it looks nice and clean. As an Engineer, it seems that Canon may have un-necessarily complicated the printer with the focus on clean lines when not in use. Still a good printer from my initial impression and I hope that it works as trouble free and reliable as my last 3 Canon Printers for my home office.

Please know that this printer is great with cardstock! After setting up my printer, I was ready to print greeting cards. Then after esearch in these reviews and on the Canon website, I thought that I could not! Not true at all. If you persevere looking within the Canon website, there is a small note at the bottom of a page to use one sheet of cardstock, at a time, from the rear tray. I had thought the rear try was only for photo paper because this information is hard to find. THEN, I flipped up the little guard below the rear tray, loaded the cardstock and put the guard down. The printer screen asked what paper was in the tray and cardstock was an option! Tadahhh!

When printing greeting cards from the rear tray, you cannot use two-sided printing. (It works perfectly for the main tray.) Print one side and then place the print side down for the second side to print on the back. Test the print and figure out which way to load the top edge of your card (again face-down).

The manual is limited, so keep trying with all things, including setup. Also, watch out for a "Cannon" website which is not official. Lastly, I have a 2011 iMac and it took a little effort and I cannot tell you how it even happened, but the wifi connected with some work from the printer and computer.

I hardly ever write reviews, but there was so much misinformation about cardstock printing that I need to let you know that this printer is great!

Don't buy this printer. It's a waste of money and time. From the second I got it, the thing never worked well. It kept dropping the wireless connection even though the router is 6" away from it. I called Asurion, the warranty company, and they tried to trouble shoot it for me, but after a few minutes came to the conclusion that it was hopelessly broken and needed to be replaced. The transferred me to their customer service dept to file a claim, but they in turn transferred me to Canon, even though I told them that Canon was closed. After getting cut off by the Canon phone system, I attempted to contact AMAZON for help. I tried to do a return but was instead directed to do a review. So here you go. I THINK AMAZON NEEDS TO BE BROKEN UP. IT'S TOO MUCH OF A MONOPOLY. I doubt anyone will read this review, or if they do, do anything about it.

I wanted a high quality printer for the business for every day use (regular business printing like invoices and accounting), and a more color accurate photo printer for up to 8-1/2” x 14” (8 x 12 digital photo prints). With the higher price point compared to the entry level Canon I expected better performance and longer life.

Experience for the first 30 days:
The good- loads from rear and front trays so you can separate the business printing from the photo printing by specifying the media and resolution desired in the Mac print set-up, and seamlessly moving from business applications to rendering artistic photos. Nice upgrade and worth the higher price.

The bad- the on line manual is not easy to follow from setup through mastering the functions. Lotsa trial and error. Older Canon printers were much simpler and easier to master.

While I haven’t owned this printer for more than a month, I faced failure on the last two MG6800’s purchased after 2 years. Hope this TS8320 lasts longer!
